We service homes, offices, hospitals, government buildings, school. All of our service people are OSHA 10 hour Certified. They are also all drug tested and checked for criminal background. Cameras are a logical thought yet in our experience working in thousands of homes and commercial facilities we find that they do not replace actual visual inspection as the most effective way to inspect ductwork. When we service a home or business we encourage the customer to visually inspect our work by looking in the ductwork prior to us closing the system when we are HEPA vacuuming the to ensure that they see the great results of our work. Duct & Vent Cleaning of America, Inc reinvests in our company and it is evident after 25 years in business. We invest in the education and training of our staff. We are one of the earliest and most active members in our trade association NADCA. We have very high insurance limits which cost more to protect our customers and employees interest. We invest in our corporate culture to ensure that we are providing the best product on the market consistently. We believe that the person who came up with the old saying "you get what you pay for" was correct. Unfortunately many duct cleaners can not perform the job they are claiming to perform for the price they claim to be offering. When they get into a residence they usually have a catch to their offer and raise their prices. Our customers know the complete finial price of the project prior to us walking in the door. Explained what they were doing as they went along, Entire job took 2 1/2 hours. Very satisfied with the work performed. Salesman was very responsive in resolving scheduling difficulties.
A workdate of Jan. 15th at 12noon was given me when contract was made. However, when the crew hadn't arrived by 1 o'clock, I called the salesman and was told they couldn't be here until 3:30. When I called again at 4 o'clock, I was told they couldn't come until 1pm on thursday the 16th. They finally arrived at 3:20pm. The salesman was kind enougt to deduct 10% from the agreed to contract price for the inconveience which I was grateful for.
It seems to me a company this big and in business for as long as it has would have a developed a more effiecient and reliable scheduling system for its work crews. I didn't mind the waiting at home so much as needing to cancel 2 doctors' appointments and other meetings on thursday. I believe they need to hire more personnel.
