Poured slab for garage foundation. I had them move the framing twice because it was in the wrong location. The floor is not flat. The front section is 6" out of square from the rear, and 3" side to side. In order to make the building square, I will loose about a foot of interior space. Front section is pitched about 2" over 15' side to side, such that the garage door will NEVER close correctly. Not enought anchor bolts around perimeter as shown on plan, and the ones that are there are not in a straight line. The crew seemed to be in over their heads with not much direction from the bosses. On the bright side, the foundation did pass inspection. The footers are deep and wide with plenty of wire and fiber reinforcement. Hopefully it will hold up.

1. Concrete patio/repair poured incorrectly so part of slope was not correct/ed. directed water to house foundation in particular spot rather than away as job specified (getting water away from the house foundation was the entire purpose of this repair). 2. Steve Miller was careless with my address. He had another irate customer show up at my house uninvited trying to "confront" him. I don't know how this stranger got my address but it was through him somehow. I felt very uncomfortable with having his angry customer show up to confront Steve Miller about the poor work he'd done at their home. 3. Steve Miller incorrectly predicted the amount of concrete needed for the size of patio making me end up with a shorter patio than originally had. 4. Steve Miller (Decorative Concrete Services) was very careless by sealing the patio right before a thunderstorm despite my request that they hold off due the the coming rain. 5. Steve Miller at Decorative Concrete Services has been unresponsive in correcting his poor work and is avoiding calls. So far he hasn't shown up to appointment(s) that he has made to view and correct the job. He hasn't returned calls.
