I obtained his number from the local newspaper. I liked that he did gardening/yard work/landscaping exclusively. He came over at the end of the same day that I called him. He spoke knowledgeably, and seemed engaged by his trade. He was "ecologically minded" - his preference was to not use, or to minimize the use of, toxic chemicals, and spoke about related issues. Easy to talk to. He gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable, relative to the amount of work involved..
