Affordable Tree Care

Pro: Cheap Con: Did half the job, promising to finish later. 2 months later, half a dozen promised dates where they no call no showed, I let them know not to bother as I'm filing a lawsuit. As I'm handing the paperwork to the clerk, they call and tell me they did the job and please don't file. I come back to discover they did the shittiest job possible that might technically qualify as fulfilling their agreement.

It was excellent. They were friendly. They cleaned up after. They did exactly what I needed.

It was very good. They were early.

I was very, very impressed with their service. The whole operation that they performed was really, really good. I would absolutely use them again. If I had any other trees to be cut, I would use them because I did really like their service. Their equipment were really nice, and the workers were professional.

Picked a time of the year when they aren't busy. They removed the tree and said the stump removal guys were a week behind. Waited a few weeks and nobody. I called and they said they were coming and I didn't need to be home. The stump is easy access near the road. waited a few more weeks and nothing. called again because we needed to get a fence installed and the stump would be close to the inside of it. still nothing. Waited 2 months and had to call a more reliable company.

I'm not really happy with Affordable Tree Care. The agreement was they would take down the trees and they would cut it into logs and leave it at the back of the house but they put down into trees make it into big logs left it at the driveway. They were in big logs og wood that my husband could not even lift them. Now I have to get somebody else to pick them up. Their punctuality was good.

They are very courteous and helpful. They came and did the job when they were supposed to and did not leave a mess.

He was excellent and did great work. He has come out twice. For the amount of money we paid it really was a great deal. They cleaned up after wards They took the branches and they made mulch for us. We were very happy with the work he did. He really got back to us within a good amount of time. They are very talented and got the trees down without causing any other damage.

Affordable was the only company that returned my calls in a timely manner after the freak snowstorm in October of 2011. I had just had a new roof installed prior to the snowstorm and there were a number of very large branches on my roof. Needless to say, I was eager to have them removed before they damaged the brand new shingles. They came out and gave me an estimate, and we arranged to have the service performed on a particular day. Unfortunately (and understandably) they did not make it out that day, but did contact me to arrange another date. Same issue - but again, they called and said they would be out on Sunday morning at a particular time. When that time came and went I called their office (they had been very good about contacting me previously so I wasn't sure what was going on). Within a very short time they sent out the head of the company who personally removed the branches from my roof. The job was done quickly and efficiently, and I was very pleased. They were great to work with and I highly recommend them!!!!

They are great. I've used him 2 or 3 times. I got permission from my city to get somebody to come out and trim the trees. They did quite a bit of work in the area. They are extremely affordable which is a big thing. They come out when they say they are going to come out. They work fast. I paid to have my neighbor's work done too. I paid about $800 and that included taking a huge tree down. They are good about doing their work. They are not kidding when they say that they response the same day. I think the guy works 24 hours a day. It's a real small family business. His wife answers the phone, he goes out and prices the job and he manages the crew. I don't know if he's a certified arborist, but he's the guy who is insured. He does tree climbing. He does all of the actual work up in the tree. He's got a crew of 4 or 5 guys on the ground and they are like a well oiled machine. When limbs get lowered down, one guy is cutting the limbs into sections, the other 2 guys are hauling it to the wood chipper at the street and another guy keeps moving it to the wood chipper. They have a good operation and they know what they are doing. They are very nice. They speak Spanish. They trimmed a Japanese Maple that was up by the wires. He gave that a major cut for free. I would use them again in the future if need be.
