VCA Southwick Animal Hospital

My only issue with this provider is their costs for care. They are way higher than other vets. My male dog needs to be neutered and they told me I would receive an estimate in the mail. Really??? In all the years I've had pets, I've never heard this before. Unfortunately, they are owned by a nationwide vet company and it's all about the money. I finally received the estimate and price is $450 to $550! I don't even want to know how much the charge would be to spay a female dog.
I would like to stay with them as the vets are good and they have x-rays, lab, etc. If you have a sick pet, they are where you want to go but for the average, run of the mill pet care, use your local vet and not one liked to VCA.

Southwick Animal Hospital is convenient and they were very good with my dog.

The vets may be the most competent in the area, and that is the reason I use the clinic. However, their prices are very high. They also, as I understand it, have financial connections to companies that sell puppies that have been puppy-milled. Those are the two reasons I have downgraded my overall rating.

I love them and they are fabulous. I went half an hour before they were open. I pulled into the parking lot knowing that they weren’t open and one of the doctors saw me. She came out of the building right up to my car. They have mostly female veterinarians. I have referred them to my friends to them. My daughter also goes to them. Their price is fair.

I love this place and have total faith that my much loved pets will get the treatment and caring they deserve. The vet always calls the next day to see how my pet is doing. I would not even consider going anywhere else.

We LOVE this vet! The staff and doctors just love animals and are sensitive to both their needs and the owners' needs. Can't say enough about this great place!
