This landscapte team has been taking care of the basics for my yard for several years and doing a great job. In the spring of 2014 during the usual spring cleanup work, I pointed out to the crew leader that the older bushes around the property really need some significant trimming. Nothing had been done to these very old bushes on the property in 6 yrs. When we bought the property they were low on the list of things to take care of. I wanted several big ones pruned way back, deadwood removed overall, and any trash type invasive growing stuff into the bushes removed. When autumn came around, they folded that work right into the fall cleanup. Initially I was a tad surprised by the amount of the pruning invoice. Seemed a bit high but their pricing and work has always been fair so paid it and watched the mountain of snow arrive in the winter. In the spring I was able to see just how terrific a job they had done. They had eliminated all the dead work, as well as subtle damage in the bushes, and done gentle careful shaping all around. Several bushes that had been lack lustre definitely looked the healthiest they have in years! Beautiful job.

The large job (reseeding a large lawn) 3 years ago as well as the weekly mowing went very well.

Their price is about $400 monthly during the summer months including lawn mowing and trimming.

Curtiss is a company that has been around for a long time in Southborough, MA. Since the owner passed away a few years ago, his wife and relatively young sons have taken over all the work. The family is most concientious. I would highly recommend them.

Terrific. Everything looks great. Phil Curtis was very helpful throughout. Met with us more than once to review potential work and suggested possible approaches without trying to push or sell anything. Provided quote promptly with clear detailed breakdown of costs to help us make decisions. We liked that he quoted and communicated by email and was also available by phone. Workers were polite, on time, picked up at the end of each days work. Different mix of workers as stages of work proceeded, but all were professional. Phil and various workers all provided helpful advice when some design and layout decisions arose during the job. For example, rather than just stick with the original patio, after the crew outlined that shape, they sought us out to consult and confirm that it would be acceptable, or, as they suspected, should to be altered to really work well. We did adjust the layout and it was significantly better and didn't even affect the cost. Their advice on final perennial bed shape and positioning was also good. Better result which also ensured that drainage in that area would work well. I was impressed by their collaborative approach throughout. Although on a schedule ( which they met), they didn't just blindly proceed simply to get on to the next job. Based on this experience, we expect to use them again in the future when we tackle other areas of the yard that need some work.

Phil and Marty were very helpful with suggestions and the initial design of the surroundings of a newly built garage. They began work the day they said they would. Marty did a beautiful job with the stone work and creatively handled the problem of height differential between garage and the house, which is only 3 feet away. He built 2 small, pretty terraces using steppers and crushed gravel of bluestone. Dana did a great job on adding 4 inches of very good topsoil on a huge expanse of clay soil, dug up during the building of the garage. They then put down burlap to keep the grass seed from washing down the hill. They hydroseeded, and less than a week later a new lawn emerged. Phil came by every day to check in on the work and was very helpful. All were communicative, responsive, polite, friendly, and nice to have around.

They were great. They were very professional and HARD WORKING. We were trying to finish before the first snowfall, and they were out there first thing every morning. We were only slowed down by the hot tub company, and Curtiss rearranged their schedule to accomodate us. They would follow up with phone calls to make sure everything was going OK ( like after the fence was installed.) They were very neat and polite.
