My tenant wanted an electric outlet for an electric car. I had my wife contact Bob, the owner, and requeset an estimate. Bob was unprofessional and made comments about how we, as home-owners, should not pay for that and how we should pass that expense onto our tenants (none of his business). My wife made it clear that we wanted an estimate to see whether or not we wanted to observe the cost. Bob ended up doing the work without notifying us. We found out by speaking to our tenants. Apparently, our tenants approved the work directly. I called Bob to let him know he should have not done the work and should have called us back to inform us the tenants approved the work. I was upset on the phone and Bob chose to drop the "F" bomb as he was not in the mood to receive feedback. He then went on to hang up on me after I reacted to his F bomb by telling him it wasn't about the money, but about the principle. I told him $270 was not a big issue as which point he called me arrogant. Obviously the $270 was a big issue to Bob as he went on to email me later looking for payment from my tenants. Bob also bragged about his ratings on Angie's list. He obviously needs to be humbled as a good business owner knows you are only as good as your last provided service. I would highly discourage anyone from using Bob.

I am doing my happy dance.  Mr. Cote was very professional, helpful, courteous, punctual and he and his workers did a great job.  I would highly recommend him without hesitation or reservation!

As with any major project we were very nervous but upon meeting with Bob Cote, our fears were put at ease. He was gracious enough to do several walk throughs with both my wife and I, showing us what would be involved with the rewiring and also allowing us to bounce ideas off of him as to placement of new switches and outlets. The work was completed earlier than expected. There was clear communication between the workers and myself. All of our expectations were exceeded. We would definitely use this company again and would suggest them to any friends needing electric work done.

We blew our stove outlet box on a Saturday afternoon, called and left a message, heard back 15 minutes later from the owner who didn't have any guys available to come out so he offered to come out himself that afternoon. Was exactly on time, very friendly and knowledgeable and fixed the outlet quickly without overcharging. We will definitely call them again!

We were having issues with flickering lights, with the power ultimately going off entirely.  We reported it to the Electric Company, and, when power was restored within 30 minutes, we assumed they had fixed it.  However, later?more flickering, with power ?bumps? turning on our touch lamps in the middle of the night.  
The next morning was Friday and I really wanted to get this resolved before the weekend.  I called Blanchard & Daly (which I found on Angie?s list), was asked to leave a message, and within minutes, Bob called back.  i described the problem and he came over immediately.  He found that water had been leaking into our fuse box, causing rust and corrosion.
He had to leave to get parts and returned promptly.  He ended up replacing our 100 amp main breaker as well as a 15, 30, 50 and two 20?s, and then he sealed areas outside the house which had allowed the water entry into the  box to prevent future problems.
I can?t say enough about what a good job he did.  He was prompt, professional, courteous and VERY knowledgeable.  We?ll definitely be calling Blanchard & Daly for any future electrical work we require.

Blanchard and Daly were by far the most prompt, responsive, and professional company I contacted for this work. They called me back first, scheduled the initial estimate promptly, got the proposal back to me the fastest, and quoted a competitive price in the bargain. Plus, they weren't afraid of the challenge of running new lines in a very old home, with an unusual roofline. Two men worked flat out over the course of two days to get the bulk of the work done, overcoming the aforementioned challenges quite well. Due to an oversight in the original proposal's write-up (which I also failed to catch), the 7 replacement outlets were not done at that time, but when I contacted Bob Cote he readily accepted responsibility and scheduled an additional visit at no extra cost to take care of it.
Our house is now much better prepared for the arrival of our new kids. Blanchard and Daly did excellent work, and I'll definitely use them again in the future if I have need of more electrical work.

Perhaps just as important as his electrical expertise is the fact that I initially hired him to come over and check out an exterior electrical box that serviced my central air conditioner, as I was told by a landscaper that I need to have all the wiring replaced. Bob checked it out and told me the wiring did not need to be replaced. His honesty saved me paying for a job that was not necessary. I'm impressed by his honesty. My days of searching for an electrician are over! Bob is now my permanent electrician.

Installation of standalone generator. They were prompt, friendly, and work done in a professional manner. Would highly recommend for any electrical work.

We couldn't get anyone from the place where we bought our gas fireplace to return a call. My husband researched local service providers and called Blanchard and Daly. Bob returned my husband's call immediately and we set an appointment. He came to look at our gas fireplace when it wasn't kicking on. He checked out the thermostat, which was working. He then checked the wiring under the stove and found a safety switch that had become disengaged. He took time on this little, picky job and was really pleasant. And then he discounted his usual fee.
