Michael's Overhead Door

This guy really knows what he's doing! I have seldom seen anyone who knows his job as well as Michael knows his. I watched him fix my garage door after the original repairman did more to damage it than to fix it. Michael went through every calibration (level, track alignment, re-tensioning the torsion bars, etc. etc.) and he repaired it quickly, methodically and, most importantly, accurately. I've owned this house for 12 years and my garage door has never worked this quietly or this smoothly before! If you are having a problem with your garage door, call this guy. I got lucky -- I picked his name out of an old phone book (how old-fashioned is that?) on the basis that he was the only one who gave his full name and address. I figured he obviously wasn't trying to hide from anyone. I'm glad I called him. It was one of the best experiences I've EVER had hiring someone who wasn't referred to me. In fact, he was better than most people who HAVE been referred to me. ********** (10) Stars.

I went great. Michael worked us into his schedule that day after our springs broke and my Wife’s car was trapped in the garage. He was there within an hour and replaced both springs. We also had him replace the opener since ours was very old. He took care of it all and was done quickly. He even repaired some trim on garage at no cost.

He knew exactly what needed to be done, and readjusted the rollers, etc. Very thoughtful and fair.

Mike responded right away, took a look at the situation and found the best price on a new remote. Works like a charm.

I obtained a few estimates and found that the product, service, workmanship, and advice provided by Michael's was superior. He didn't take shortcuts and I have a higher degree of confidence that the door opener will operate safely and for a long period of time. I would highly recommend this company.

Mike was great.  Called right back; scheduled the appointment for the next day; arrived promptly with the required equipment, completed the job promptly for the price he quoted.

Arrived on time, checked my old garage opener which operated sometimes and said I needed a new opener. He installed it .the new opener works GREAT. Wish I had done this long ago. I would definitely recommend him.

You should find an earlier reference to Michael's from me. I don't remember when we replaced our garage door and I'm unable to look it up easily. Within the last 4 years. He was a pleasure to work with in all aspects. Really knows the business.

He put in a solid wood garage door. We first me him about 5 years ago when he repaired a motor to our garage door. We thought we needed a new garage door at that time and he fixed it like new. He is very professional, a pleasure to work with, and he is very knowledgeable with garage doors.

Great. The owner (Michael) showed up on time, did a complete repair and tune up in about 30 minutes. He checked everything, even parts that weren't damaged and that I wasn't concerned about. He adjusted the tension on the torsional spring, because he thought the door was still a bit too heavy to lift. He oiled everything, and pointed out that grease had been previously (inappropriately) used. He spent a few minutes trying to get a rattle out of the light cover (to make the whole thing work more quietly) He gave me a few tips for keeping the door in good shape. He charged me $95 which violates my usual sense that "you can't get anything done on a house for less than $200." He didn't waste time, he cleaned up after himself and charged me a very fair price. Can't beat that.

Perfectly. Mike came within a day of the original call, assessed what needed to be done, and got it done really well and very quickly. He was very professional and did great quality work. I am only sorry that I won't be needing another garage door for a while and therefore won't be able to hire him again. He really did a flawless job and was remarkably honest and professional.
