JEN'S DESIGNS

I hired Jen Deforge to design an addition to my home and gave her a down payment. She was to come to my home again in one week. The day before our 2nd meeting, she left a voicemessage cancelling and saying she would call back by the end of that week to reschedule. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear from her. I was afraid she had taken my money (and my original house plans) and scammed me. So I called one of her former employers to get some info on her. I also called her and left her a couple of voice messages. She finally called back, apologizing, and we rescheduled. The design she brought was far from what we had discussed but I decided to give her a second chance. A couple days later, she called me and very unprofessionally complained that I had spoken to her former employer. She said she did not want to work for me and would mail my plans back to me along with a partial refund. I received these in the mail a few days later.
