I called, the phone was answered promptly and professionally. I explained my issue and the lack of responsiveness of closer providers. He was apologetic that providers in his industry were acting that way and wanted to know who so that he did not recommend a firm that did not even answer the phone or call back. He suggested that I try a couple other towns East of me.
He was quite firm that I was far beyond his service area and would not take the job because of it.
I am annoyed, but it is a reasonable response. I have since heard of firms in Spencer, MA that I am tracking down.

They were the only people who responded to my enquiry, and they came out the next day and gave me a quick estimate. He came out three or four days later at the time he mentioned he would be there and took care of the job and he struck to the old price and I thought it was pretty decent. He did a very good job. I have an aqua color fence and they have not made that color in a long time, but he managed to salvage the fencing. The fencing was still good, but everything around it was broken up and he did a nice job replacing and re-hanging it.

This was a truly amazing experience. First, one man came to the house to measure and create an estimate. This was delivered promptly and covered 4 different styles of fence. We decided on one, and he ordered the fencing. A week to ten days later they returned with the fence, installed it in three days. They worked steadily and behaved very professionally. They came to the house once to ask a question. Everyone who sees the fence remarks on what a great job they did. I've only heard one complaint, and that's from my dog. The fact that she complains means the fence is doing what it's supposed to do. The most startling event was that they played a radio as they worked -- they were listening to WHMP, progressive talk radio, which I was listening to inside at the same time.
