We opted to do the full home inspection along with a radon test. Ken was very personable and give my fiance' a lot of information in regard to the home we are purchasing as first time home buyers. We received a 60+ pg. report the following day detailing the results of the inspection (with photos and suggestions), which is very useful. The only thing that was surprising is that the inspection was only about 1.5 hours, I was expecting longer for a 1500 sq ft. home, makes me wonder if he could have been a bit more in depth with some elements.

After locating Mid Cape Home Inspection on Angie's List and looking at reviews, I contacted them via phone to request an inspection, which was scheduled for the next week.  Ken Amelin from Mid Cape Home Inspection was very professional, thorough, courteous, and punctual. He started by explaining exactly what he was going to examine, as well as what he would not be looking at.  He took photos of various items for reference in his report. He covered the entire house and followed-up with a radon monitoring test. During inspection, he identified areas of potential issue, discussed level of significance, and made recommendations on how to mitigate the conditions. We received the report on the home inspection the day after the inspection was performed, and a follow-up summary of results on the subsequent radon test. I'd highly recommend Mid Cape Home Inspection.

Ken did a great job on our home inspection,  he is very detail-oriented and knowledgeable inspector. His thorough report was available the next day.
