Note: The cost of service was actually $0.00 because of warranty work. The cost listed is for the original cost of purchasing the 2 wooden garage doors. I have to give Compton Doors an excellent rating. The builder of our house had Compton Doors install the doors, so I cannot take credit for choosing them. Upon noticing warped wooden panels, I contacted Compton Doors and they promptly came out to inspect the doors. Compton Doors handled all the warranty work with the manufacturer (Clopay) and removed and installed the new panels. Then a year later, the doors had water damage where the factory stain/sealer failed. This had a 2 year warranty. Again, Compton Doors came out immediately, handled all the warranty issues and even corrected the work beyond the factory's ability to their own level of quality finishing. They stand behind their work and their sales even when the manufacturer doesn't. I have yet to find a contractor so concerned about the quality of their work and willing to correct situations that were not their doing. When the original garage door openers fail (they are substantially older and louder), we will definitely call Compton Doors for replacements. The crews have been polite, prompt, neat and genuinely concerned about the quality of work provided.
