Storck & Storck Cleaning Services

We were generally pleased by the quality of the cleaning work Edeline Storck's team did, but they damaged the kitchen sink garbage disposal by putting paper towels and other debris down the sink drain. When she sent her invoice, we requested that she deduct the cost of the new disposal we had to buy because her team had damaged it. She never responded at all to this request and, instead, while we were waiting for her response, she enlisted a collections agent to harass us about the unpaid invoice. We paid the invoice at that point because it wasn't worth the damage to our credit rating, but prospective customers should know that they risk impacting their credit rating if Storck cleaners cause damage to property while doing their work.

We have a fairly unusual schedule and this Storck & Storck has been great in accommodating our needs. The price seems a little high but they do a good job and they show up when they say they will.

They are just phenomenal.  They are very reasonably priced and they’re spotless.  I think we cut our budget monthly by over $100 by hiring them.

They come every other week but we had a snow storm so we had to reschedule. Its' $50 an hour for 2 women so we have them out for 4 hours.

Overall, my experience with Stork & Stork was a waste of time, unpleasant, frustrating, and maddening.
I would NEVER recommend their services and believe that most folks who have bad experiences with Angie's List providers are so aggravated that they don't bother to write about it.  Too bad for me, because I wasted a total of two months trying to use their services.

Excellent 1st clean. Very good cleaning as a follow on with different staff. They are responsive to reschedules and don't cancel visits which I've had other cleaners do. The standard is consistently good. They are reliable.

I liked the owner. She was very professional and I was very impressed with her. They did a very good job of cleaning; however I did terminate their service because I wasn't happy with them in the end. The problem was that the customer service was horrible and they didn't deliver what was promised in terms of a steady work crew. In the beginning I was promised the same crew of people would be coming to my house and I used them for eight months and I never had the same team of people. I terminated them because I couldn't deal with that. They kept promising it and never delivering it. When I would call to talk about it the guy was very rude. Luckily the cleaning was wonderful but the customer service end of it was atrocious. They were thorough and they were very good. They are not the people to go with if you want the same people at your house.

I called the office and Edilene (the owner) was very responsive and came to my house within a couple of days. We have a four bedroom, 2 bath house and Edilene told me that it would be $135 for the initial deep cleaning and $95 per visit after that. This rate is much cheaper than what I was quoted by other companies, in part because I was paying for less time. I appreciated the options that Edilene gave me. She basically said, "If you want intensive cleaning every time, you're going to want to pay for the girls to be here longer. In an hour and a half they will get all of the important areas clean: bathrooms, kitchen, floors, dusting, vaccuuming all couches. It may mean that they skip the floorboards in one room one visit and clean them the next." She also made it very clear that if I had any concerns after a cleaning, I should call the office and the issue would be dealt with promptly. The first cleaning was AMAZING and we were so happy. (They have a special crew that they send for the first cleaning.) After that, we had a few communication problems before we got set up on their regular rotation. (Twice, I was under the impression that they were coming but they did not.) Once we finally settled on our day and time everything has been very smooth. The girls now do a nice job and my house is so much cleaner that it was when I was cleaning it! They are trustworthy and hardworking. I recommend them.

Things were shaky at the start as we discovered that the company does not respond to the email address on their business cards. Once we called the office, though, things were great and they scheduled an estimate within a few days. Edilene Storck came to our house to do a walk through and gave us detailed information about the company's services along with her estimate. The initial cleaning took two workers about 8 hours and we were charged a discounted rate of just over $200 dollars. Since then they have been coming every other week to clean and they charge $85 per visit (our house is 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 2000 square feet). They are reliable and the quality of the cleaning is excellent. Our only concern is that they sometimes slide the furniture on the hard wood floors and have left some scratches.

They cleaned our house before we moved in and did a spectacular job for the price of a regular cleaning and we used their services for two years after that. They were thorough and fast. They did things that other cleaning companies usually don't do. They are very reasonably price and responsive to concerns.

THE COMPANY IS A MIXED BAG TO WORK WITH. THE OFFICE STAFF IS ALWAYS POLITE, FRIENDLY, AND THE CLEANING CREW THE SAME. THE CREW WORKS HARD, BUT CLEANING CAN BE SLIGHTLY SPOTTY, AND AS THE CREWS DO NOT SPEAK MUCH ENGLISH, COMMUNICATION IS DIFFICULT FOR LAST-MINUTE REQUESTS. ALSO, I'D COME HOME TO FIND ITEMS BROKEN OR DAMAGED, AND NOT HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY THE OFFICE OR CREW. WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS (VIA PHONE MESSAGE) I RECEIVED NO REPLY. BOTTOM LINE, GOOD WORK FOR THE MONEY, SEVERAL DRAWBACKS.

WE WERE STUNNED AT THE PHENOMENAL JOB DONE BY THE WOMEN WHO CAME TO DO THE INITIAL CLEANING. THEY WERE THOROUGH BEYOND BELIEF. WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE LOW PRICE ($70) BECAUSE THE WOMEN WORKED 6-8 HOURS SO WE ENDED UP GIVING THEM A GENEROUS 'TIP.' ON SUBSEQUENT VISITS THEY WORKED ABOUT 90 MINUTES AND THE PRICE SEEMED MORE REASONABLE .... I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM!

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR THREE YEARS. THEY WORK IN TEAMS OF TWO. THEY BRING THEIR OWN CLEANING TOOLS, BUT USE YOUR CLEANING PRODUCTS.
