Scott Evans repaired a gutter and facia board a few weeks earlier and recommended replacing the worn out asphalt flat roof with rubber roofing. I have a slate roof that joins into the rubber roof and wanted a roofer with slate experience and Scott has this experience. He agreed to do the job on 5/14 and arranged for the necessary permits and inspections. Scott and his crew were very professional, worked hard all morning, cleaned all debris. We have had a few rain storms since then and there are no leaks and although I cannot see the roof, the edges look great!

I called Red Hammer Roofing to 0n 4/29/14 and Scott Evans, owner, came that afternoon to evaluate the problem and recommended replacing the facia board and gutter. He is very professional, answered all my questions and explained the process his crew would use. He provided information about his insurance coverage. Scotts bid was in the range of 2 other bids. I decided to hire Red Hammer Roofing. Mike Evans, Scott's brother, arrived with a crew of 2 on 5/2 to do the work. They completed the job, which looked great, and cleaned all the debris. The fist time it rained there were no leak!

Scott and his crew were very professional, responded to my initial call quickly and I was very satisfied with the work done. I will rehire Red hammer for other repairs my roof will need.

Working with them was great. They were very professional and easy to work with.

During a series of storms, a leak opened up on the roof by the chimney. It did $900 of damage to the closet below it while I tried to get someone in to fix it. (Two and a half-story house with a steeply sloped roof.) Once I reached Red Hammer, my troubles were over. They came when they said they would, did a thorough job of repairing and replacing, fixed the leak, and charged me $300. When we re-roof in a few years, I'm calling these guys first.

Scott responded to me in a professional, yet personable way. They did the work in a timely and efficient manner, which helped keep the price down. Overall, I think their pricing was very reasonable, and we were happy with the service. In fact, I thinking of hiring them again for repair work in the future.

When I called Scott, he came out the very next day and repaired the rubber roof. He did a good job and it does not leak anymore. He also did another job for me. I had had new roofing put on a front porch roof and the person did not complete the job correctly. I called Scott in and he had to remove the shingles and fix the flashing.
