Pianos by Jay Piano Tuning

Jay arrived right on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed by his familiarity with such an old instrument. He knew all of the little tricks and techniques of getting an old upright in tune and was happy to answer all of my questions and concerns. Of course the piano sounded amazing after his tuning and he gave me a complete overview of the piano's condition, the work performed, and what to expect down the road. He was also interested in the piano's history and called me later that day with some historical info that he had found. Thanks Jay!

Jay is a very good piano tuner.  He shows up when I call him.  He makes appointments; he is pretty good about coming on time, within fifteen minutes of his appointment time.  He is very nice, he is low-key kind of a guy and you just have to expect that he sits down at your piano and makes a lot of noise until it is tuned.  It takes him about an hour.  He also does piano repairs so if you have a sticky key or things that are not right, he would make suggestions and fix them.  He did a good job with fixing something in my piano.  He is about the going rate around here.
