The project went smoothly and professionally and we are thrilled with the new bathroom.

* detailed 3 month schedule and costs followed nearly perfectly * weekly meetings assured us all complexities are handled and gave us ample opportunity to change our minds before progressing too far. * final touch ups were prompt and unobtrusive, even over the Christmas holidays. * mistakes made by subcontractors were painlessly remedied I have never seen this level of professionalism in a contractor, and I would never have expected to see this level of professionalism in the Boston area. Boyd in particular was an exceptional project manager.

Thequoted the project professionally, and performed the work.   They handled the usual unexpected hurdles with respect and fairness.

We found Paul through someone who hires lots of carpenters for various people and projects. The someone else said he doesn't do the carpentry himself anymore but if it was his house he wanted worked on, he would choose Paul. This seemed like a good recommendation and we have been happy with the results!

Overall, we were very pleased. They provided us with a detailed quote, were incredibly professional and great to work with. We ran into some delays on the project due to delays from a subcontractor on the cabinets, but the contractors genuinely understood the frustration and tried to do the best they could with the situation. There were some unexpected charges that came up during the project, we thought the architectural design was included in the general quote- and it wasn't. All in all, they worked with our design and tried to help us save some money, but we still came in over budget. However, we LOVE our kitchen and would work with Morse Construction again.
