I inherited gold jewelry that I would never wear and some half dollar coins. He took the time to inspect, weigh and test the gold and to verify the ages of the watches by checking the serial numbers on the manufacturer's websites. Danny was friendly and professional. I did some research before bringing my jewelry to LBC and I'm confident that I received a fair price. I found out that they also buy instruments, so I'll be back with my family member's trumpet. I would recommend LBC highly.

I did some searching elsewhere and found La Chic Boutique in Davis Square in Somerville. They will tell you in advance what they are paying for gold. I got more than I had expected, and the experience was very pleasant. Make sure to check out their website, especially the page about gold sales because you will get a better price if you print out the page that explains their procedure.
