We can’t say enough good things about Celio Prado Painting. For a very reasonable price, Douglas’s crew safely removed nearly all of the flaking lead paint from our house and repainted, as well as painting the garage. Douglas’s crew was very hardworking, efficient, and friendly. They really went above and beyond, too: for example, we had a loose clapboard where a cable runs into the house, and they reattached it. They also stripped the lead paint from the interior of our back vestibule for us, even though it isn’t technically part of the exterior, without charging us extra for it. We’ve gotten a lot of positive feecback from neighbors, commenting both on how beautiful the paint job is and how friendly the crew was.

Terrific experience. Excellent workmanship. Great paint job. I did needed the paint shaver option. Save yourself time and worry. Douglas cares about doing a good job and will do so with pride. The neatest contractor experience you could expect. Each day ended like they were not even there. Well done.

Douglas, Celio, and their crew were excellent—exceedingly professional but also friendly, answered questions, very flexible, careful, and reliable. We solicited four estimates and they were right in the middle, but we feel like once they were on the job, they went above and beyond in their work. We can’t recommend them enough and would hire again without hesitation—for painting as well as carpentry work. While the crew was painting, Douglas corrected a significant problem with some carpentry work that another contractor made a mess of on our recently rebuilt front portico. He did a great job—so much better than the original work.

Every part of the job was completed and it all looks great. Douglas worked with me to choose the best front door, and was always very willing and patient. Douglas and men who work with Celio Prado Painting are A+.

Douglas, who owns the company, is an exceptional craftsman who helps assess and solve problems. His company is known for its excellent painting, both interior and exterior, but his work as a skilled carpenter is exceptional. He has done other home projects for me, and I highly recommend him. Additionally, his pricing is very reasonable.

AMAZING. I have hired many contractors over nearly 25 years of homeownership (including a gut renovation of a whole house) and Douglas was absolutely the best I have ever worked with. Honest, straightforward, and does absolutely beautiful work--the kind of work that people just don't do any more. Things like--when I got home and the job was done, they had even replaced my old clothesline with a new one. Wow. My house looks incredible. I will hire again and recommend to others.

Overall it was an excellent experience. Douglas came and did the estimate exactly when he said he would. They started the job within the time frame that they said they would. The cost would have been exactly what was initially estimated but we added a little extra in materials. The crew was great and did a good job cleaning up with no complaints from our next door neighbor whose driveway was used to paint one side of the house. Douglas was very helpful and always reponsive. I wish we could use them for all our house needs.

Douglas, Val and their team did an outstanding job painting the exterior of our very weather-beaten house. They spent days preparing the job, always cleaning up every day as if they had not been there. The guys were gentlemen and their work top-notch. I would work with them again in a heartbeat and only wish all contractor experiences were like this. In addition to the paint job, the team replaced several large patches of rotting wood under the eaves and repaired four leaky gutter corners. Again, very professional all the way. Douglas is responsive and easy to reach. The team worked exactly when they said they would and completed the whole project in less than two weeks. Again, every day they cleaned up like they hadn't been there. My neighbors complemented the team on their courtesy and professionalism.

Doug and his team are great. They do a wonderful job fixing plaster and with painting. Doug is a master at matching paint even if you don't remember what the name of the color, or brand of the prior paint you had used. They do a good job cleaning up after their work is complete as well. I have used Doug for many years and have referred friends as well.

Doug did an amazing job and went out of his way to make sure that I was happy. At my request, he used a pump jack for much of the work to safeguard his workers' safety. He also mixed and remixed paint for me until I found the perfect shade. My house is gorgeous and I'm thrilled!

It was done in a neat and professional way. Painters cleaned up at the end of each day and at the end of the job. Work was completed as requested.

It went very well. Douglas, who is the head of the crew, is very easy to work with. They came when they said they would, worked very quickly and efficiently, cleaned up at the end of each day, and finished the job faster than I thought they would. Their work is excellent. I have used Celio Prado before for more extensive interior painting. I highly recommend them.

Douglas was wonderful. He was extremely professional and accommodating. He understood that while it was a small job there was some urgency and came with his crew the next morning. He did an excellent job on the frames and wiped down all surfaces afterward in the manner required. He worked effectively with my family member. His fee was under the estimate. I was impressed that he did all that for what was a very small job. It was a kindness.

I could not be more pleased with the work Douglas and his team provided.  From the very first contact, and throughout the entire process Douglas the most accommodating, pleasant, professional I have ever done business with, and I have been a home owner for over 25 years.  The work was of excellent quality, the crew was efficient, on time, quiet and the price was extremely fair  Douglas (or Celio, the founder of the business) was on site each day to review all work/answer questions I had.  Douglas/Celio apparently have used the same, basic crew of men for a long time, which gave me piece of mind.  They were all courteous, neat and careful (with gardens, belongings in interior rooms, etc.) to the point where 3 of my neighbors approached them to ask for bids at their own homes.  I have had my home painted 4 times (the last time only 5 years ago) and Celio Prado has done the best job by far.  I will have them back to do more interior work next month.  All contractors could take a lesson from Douglas, Celio and their company.

I give the company my highest, most enthusiastic recommendation. Douglas was a pleasure to work with. The quality of the work and the attention to detail was outstanding. all of the workers were very polite and professional. Any questions that we had were cheerfully answered by Douglas. It was the best experience I have ever had with a painting company. As a bonus, Douglas did the carpentry repairs as well and did a beautiful job. I would not hesitate to use them for any painting project in the future. Their price was very competitive and easily commensurate with the quality of the work.

They cleaned up very well every evening. There was minor damage to plants but less then other painters. They were very polite. They did a great job.
