Chris put new tile on our mudroom floor in our 94 year old house. Chris was extremely easy to work with, very upfront about pricing and worked with us while we manage COVID with our 2 young kids. The tile looks great and Chris did a great job managing our not so straight and not so flat old house. Highly skilled easy to work with professional.

Chris did an absolutely fantastic job tiling our kitchen floor and backsplash (under very difficult circumstances)! Our 1920s house has more than its fair share of irregularities (nothing is square, many choices made in previous years were unconventional at best, etc.), and Chris dealt with all the challenges this kitchen threw his way with grace, aplomb, and a creative and collaborative troubleshooting approach. He was very easy to communicate with, from the initial quote onwards, and went above and beyond to help us navigate some gaps in our contractor lineup (demoing our tile countertop, building a threshold, etc.). It was truly a delight to work with him, and the final product looks phenomenal.

Chris was great. Great communication, a fair price, and most importantly, skilled work and a beautiful final result. Tile repair work is hard, but he managed to match tiles and grout perfectly.

Project went well - it was really a bear - 1946 bathroom time installed over wall of concrete had to be removed. Chris is knowledgeable, highly skilled and a joy to work with! Looks great!

Chris was wonderful to work with for our bathroom remodel. My husband and I don't have a lot of remodeling projects under our belt and Chris was always patient and helpful as he guided us through a lot of decisions. We are extremely happy with the work that was done. Our house is old, and we know nothing is square or straight. We chose Chris because we needed a tile installer who could handle that and he did - it looks fabulous! Chris stayed on budget, arrived every day in a mask, and cleaned up every day before he left. We would highly recommend Chris for your tile work in any remodel.

First thought this would be a simple regrouting job due to a lot of cracked grout and a couple loose tiles in our shower, but one contractor (based solely on photos) diagnosed a systemic mold issue that would requre a full shower renovation. Then we called Chris who actually inspected the damage, and posited (correctly it turns out) that the issue was solely due to leaking around the window in the shower. After removing the tile and old backing board, we saw considerable rot in window sill and wall stud. Chris removed the rotting wood, then actually built in a new wood frame for the backing board that wouldn't interfere with being able to replace the window itself. He then put up new tile and grout, and three days later it all looks good as new. We supplied the tile and window threshold, and Chris did all the rest. He was very personable and patient with all my questions, and clearly communicated everything he was doing. Would highly recommended CB Tile for any bathroom tile project.

Chris was quick to return my inquiry and come give me an estimate. His estimate was very fair and he was able to complete the work in the exact timeframe estimated (he had warned that the demolition could unearth unforseen complications but luckily this did not happen!) He was very sensitive to preserving the integrity of the underlying brick as our house is a Victorian from 1875 and the fireplace original. He was also very sensitive and collaborative about the placing of the tile to ensure the pattern worked since there were some irregular areas; he did a superb job and it looks fabulous. I would not hesitate to work with him again.

Chris was tremendous. He communicated well, was very knowledgeable, stayed in touch throughout the process, and produced a quality and attractive result. We would use him again and recommend him highly.

Chris was great from the start - reposnded quickly to my initial message and when he came to our house for the estimate he pointed out an aesthetic mistake I would have made using a smaller subway tile (a really thin slice would have been the top row about the sink which would have been an unfortunate eye grabber. With that focal point in mind he suggested 4x12 tile which looks great. He did phenomenal tile work, was prompt and professional.

Really enjoyed working with Chris. Great craftsmanship, honest advice, and he was willing to work with me in terms how I was interested in doing the project. Highly recommended! Used porcelain tile, looks great.

Chris did a great job. He was responsive and gave us a very competitive estimate. He was very knowledgeable and really is an expert at tile installation. Plus, he was a super nice guy. We have a 50 year old house and the two layers of old tile had been installed directly on a cement sub-floor. Chris was able to remove that neatly without damaging the sub-floor. Our new tile floor looks amazing! I would definitely recommend Chris!

Chris did a great job. He has aesthetic sensibility and, for what could have been a messy job, was extremely neat and careful. The tile used was a combination of glass, stone and metal and the final result was exactly what I wanted. Chris is responsive and trustworthy. I highly recommend him.

Excellent work by Chris. Really knew what he was doing and performed all of the work in a careful, professional manner. Due to problems in getting the tiles from the vendor, Chris had to make several trips to the house in order to get the work completed, and he did so patiently and without complaint

Chris is extremely professional and he and everyone he hired for our job did very good work. They worked hard and were thorough. No one took shortcuts and you could see their own values and sense of pride in their work come through. Chris is very honest and up front with you and immediately puts you at ease. There were a lot of services and people to organize and I think Chris did it very well. Everyone was extremely pleasant, worked hard and always tidied up after themselves. We are very pleased with out bathroom.

Chris did a great job and we are very happy with the final product. Our home is from the 1800s and walls and corners can be hard to deal with as there is not a truly flat surface or 90 degree angle in the house.  we chose 6in by 3in glass tile in a staggered or subway pattern.  chris laid out the tile wonderfully with no breaks in the pattern or suspect spots.  very nicely done.  He arrived on-time the day of the install and basically kept on schedule.  1 full day of tile install and a half day of grout and silicone, as promised.  we provided all the materials including glass-tile-thinset, grout, grout additive (waterproofing), and the silicone.  the silicone we purchased gave him some problems, however he returned to finish the job a few days later with a different product, as promised (even after we paid in full) which was awesome.   some cleanup was required after Chris left such as removal of silicone residue from the last row of tile and some general clean-up like vacuuming and sweeping... nothing out of the ordinary.  Chris was a one-man-show, offered the most competitive price, and delivered a quality tile job that we have no complaints about.

We had a great experience working with Chris. He came over to check out our project and provided a quote in a timely manner. He was responsive to our questions and showed up on time. He did a beautiful job with the install. He finished the project in the 2 days estimated and cleaned up the work site. He also came back to troubleshoot with the electric outlets and we appreciated the extra effort to get those done for us.

I have been working on kitchen renovation for 2 months.  I have had 3 contractors, each one worse than the last.  It is done but not without angst.  HOWEVER, CHRIS is amazing!!!! He came at 7:00 in the morning, did his job beautifully, and replaced a floor tile in addition to the backsplash.  He is punctual, honest, and a really all around fantastic tile contractor.  WOW! I am utterly impressed by his professionalism.
