John Scala was prompt with assessing the damage and worked with us in looking at all the various options for enhancing and protecting the wall once it was repaired. He went out of his way to find cost effective solutions and the final product turned out great! His workers were prompt, professional and did the work with a minimum of trauma to our shrubs and other workers who were working on the house at the same time. I would strongly recommend Scala Brothers to anyone who needs competitively priced, quality masonry work done.

They are good guys; they are very honest, very friendly, they do good work and their prices are fair-you get what you pay for. They show up and do the job.

Excellent, I only wished that I knew of this company beforehand. They where subcontracted out by my contractor. I would have saved a lot of money if I hired them directly. Great communication with John and his crew. Will certainly look forward to doing business them with other projects in the future.

I am very disappointed with this company's performance. There was a substantial amount of debris from the repairs to our chimney left in the roof gutter and down spout on the front of the house. I spent several hours cleaning and repairing the gutter and down spout. There was also a large amount of concrete waste from the company cleaning their equipment and tools in my side yard.
A large amount of debris was also found in the flue of my oil burner. So much was dropped down the flue that my oil company needed to remove the stove pipe and clean out the flue in order for the burner to operate properly. The oil company told me we could have had a build up of carbon monoxide in our home because of this blockage.

Not good. Was told it was going to be a 1 day project. They tried to stretch it to 3 over a 4 day period.. Didn't appreciate one brother telling us one thing and the other something else.

Excellent service from estimate to final bidding. Work was completed on time, professionally and artistically.
