+ -1 moreThe entire project progressed smoothly with no problems. They met with us to gather our ideas and input on the project, proposed a plan and then presented a detailed design plan with a contract price. Payments were spread over several completion steps of the project. They completed each part of the plan with professionalism and open communication, reviewing small issues that required a decision, and offering recommendations as needed every step of the way. They were very accommodating with us so that we could complete the painting ourselves. Given that we were undertaking this remodeling project just before the holidays, there was remarkably little disruption to our daily routine; the workers came and left through the basement bulkhead and involved us as needed. We were thrilled to have a beautiful new family room to use just in time for Christmas! Overall, they were a pleasure to work with!
Description of Work: Heritage finished half (approximately 600 square feet) of our basement. They completed the wall framing, insulation, electrical wiring, electric heating, the plastering, the suspended ceiling, door work, trim, flooring and cleanup. The price was reduced by $2500 because we did our own painting, which we coordinated with their work timetable. They were also extremely helpful in sharing painting tips and product recommendations. The finished area now includes a carpeted family room with a separate craft room/office. Both rooms have large closets with shelving. The stairway was opened up and a decorative rail with balusters was installed.
