Bill came out to pick up the table in May of 2006. The work was to take 3 weeks. He told us late in Summer 2006 that the work would need to wait until the Fall when the humid weather broke. In a call to Bill in late September of 2006, Bill said that the wrong hardware had come in and he had to return and reorder the stretcher hardware. It came to November of 2006, and we had heard nothing from Bill. Thanksgiving went by, we called Bill and got in touch with him the end of the 1st week of December 2006. He said we would have the table by Christmas. This was our last contact with Bill. To this date he has our table, and our $350 deposit. He has stopped returning phone calls. We consulted a lawyer who did send him a certified letter asking for the table and the funds back. The letter was signed for, but we didn't hear from him and a small-claims suit would take more money than the cost of a new table to pursue and we likely wouldn't see the money if we were to win a judgment.
