+ -1 moreWhen the stairs were initially done in the fall, they looked very good. However, in the spring, much of the mortar between the bricks and between the pieces of bluestone had come out or cracked. I contacted the company to come and fix the problem, but the owner kept putting me off with a different excuse each time (e.g., I'll come take a look at what needs to be done; That's a small job I can do after work some evening; I lost my help; I'm hiring additional help; I'm really busy this time of year; I'm getting divorced). To make a long story short, after 6 months of excuses, he never came to do the repairs nor to even see what needed to be done. My husband had to end up trying to fix the problem himself.
Description of Work: We had front stairs that are double the usual size replaced with bricks, brick veneer, and bluestone steps and landing. This involved removing and replacing the old bricks and brick veneer and installing new bluestone.
