Avoid like the plague. They don't do the work you ask them to do but do the work they want padding the bill and expect you to pay a lot more money.

They did a beautiful job. I am not sure if its because I am an senior, and my husband is a Korean War Veteran, but they did that job for $2,000 less than everybody else. I knew they were quality, because they just did our street. I live in an residential area, about fifty houses in four streets. They resurfaced our streets the year before, and our town Sudbury uses them all the time. Their references are excellent. The guy gave me a great price for $5,000.  I watched them. They were such professional, and did a beautiful job.They were prompt. The initial date they called because of the weather, they didn't finish up the other property, and would be two days late. They came two days late, and called me the evening before. They said they would be out there, and they were. The only thing is you have to pay cash or check. You can't charge. That price they gave me I had to pay cash, which was fine. I saved so much. Quality was great. They kept me informed.

I contacted Lazaro's main office and spoke with the manager who agreed to send an estimator over and then do a repair. No one ever showed up. Several subsequent messages left with the office admin did not yield a return phone call fro the manager. A year later I again called and again left a detailed message. He did not respond.

Not great at all. I heard from them they have been doing this for 25 year but they did not grade the driveway properly and they have an attitude when anything is not done properly

Called for someone to come out to give me an estimate. Waited 2 weeks no one ever called. I decided they must not want my business. Found someone that responded same day. Had work done within two weeks.

Lazaro did a fantastic job removing a 20+ year old asphalt driveway and then installing a new driveway. Very courteous and hard working crews. (Two separate crews--one for removing the old driveway; another installed the new driveway.) Great prep work after removing old asphalt. Note: they recycle the old asphalt. Work done one time and on budget. Great work. Wasn't the lowest bid we had received, but it was clearly a very professional job, Great value for the money paid! Family business. A member of the family led the install team and did the paving. His father did the estimate and answered all my questions. Good office support re scheduling. A pleasure to work with.

Called Lazarro hoping the bad reviews were false and given that they do lots of work in our area. Office staff was helpful and promised I'd get a call from an estimator to come out and quote on the driveway job we wanted.  Next day the estimator, Leo, called and came by.  Nice guy, friendly, understood the job.  I asked if he could come back again as my wife had a specific plan that she wanted to show him for part of the quote.  No problem, Leo came back out as requested and after the meeting said he had everything he needed and we'd hear back shortly.  A week goes by, no word.  I call Leo and ask what's up, he says he needs the owner to come by and look at our property as the job was complex, would that be ok?  I say yes, no problem.  No word so the next week I call and say, are you interested?  Oh yes, very interested says Leo.  Never heard from him again.  We hired someone's else.  Too bad, they seem to do good work but some reason they just blow off some customers.  In this case it was a complete waste of my time and Lazarro's.

Made an appointment for an estimate. The estimator came and took the measurements to re-pave the driveway and add some edgers. The estimate was sent by email and was missing items and did not have the edgers. I emailed my questions back to the office and asked for adjustments but have not heard from them. I re-sent the email but with answers. I then called the office, they apologized and promised that the estimator will call me, a week later after not hearing from them, I called again. The same excuses with promises to call. A week later, I called again asking them about the status, again they promised to call back. I told them, if they are not interested in doing the work to just let me know and I will move on... still waiting for the answer. Very awful and dishonest group.

Lazaro is superb from start to finish! I called them because they'd done a great job on my next door neighbors last year. They responded promptly, and gave me a quote a couple of days later when they said they would. Their work was terrific - they let me know when they'd be there, came promptly & did a terrific job. They guys are experienced, & they also remembered doing my neighbor's last year. They were patient in answering all of my questions - both the office staff (Nicole is great, as is Rick the owner's father who does the estimates!) as well as the guys on the job at my house. I would highly recommend them.

Originally contacted Lazaro in the fall of 2014.  They had some ideas of things to do that other contractors didn't think of (provide piping so that the sump pump output and gutter downspouts would not drain onto the driveway).  Due to the weather, the couldn't do our project in the fall.  Early spring came along and we received an email asking about dates to do the work.  We managed to schedule the work during school vacation week (thereby avoiding having to have a police detail).
The crew arrived when scheduled to remove the old asphalt and prepare the base for the new work.  I had a few questions about the new layout, and somebody came out that evening to look and answer my questions (and made a slight adjustment to the layout).
Our only issue was with the time it took to come out and lay the new asphalt.  The removal was done on a Monday, but there was no communication about when the crew would come back to put in the new driveway (they finally arrived on Thursday).
The final project looks great, and we wish we had done it years earlier.

Called paving contractors for driveway replacement. Lazaro is the only one that responded in a timely manner. Had an estimate in hand within two weeks of the initial call. Once we accepted the estimate, the work was completed within another two weeks. The crew had the old driveway out in a morning and the new one in in another morning. Very clean, professional work with no damage to lawn, gardens, walkway, etc. Would definitely use them again.

It was perfect and they did a beautiful job.  The other jobs that I’ve seen them do were magnificent.  My daughter has a huge driveway and it’s a huge job.  I don’t know what the final price is.  They paved the road of our own house and it was magnificent.  They worked for the town in front of my house and they did a good big job, but it was for the town.  They were very responsive.  Anytime I’ve ever asked them for a quote, they’ve come back and given me a quote.  They’re high but they’re good.  They get back to me with a written quote and it’s well presented.  Their punctuality is good.  They don’t come right back but they do get back.  Their professionalism is excellent.

They were quite busy during the summer months. They came fast for the initial assessment in end of April but didn't come for the job until end of august. Once they scheduled us, the job was done fairly fast. 
They did a great job. The driveway looks great. They also helped us move a boulder and remove a few stumps which was well appreciated. The guys are very friendly.
All together, we recommend them.

Mr. Lazaro was incredibly responsive, he followed up with me more than once to make sure that my appointment was scheduled as needed. The estimate was fair, he was very professional, and when we're ready to have the work done I will definitely consider using Lazaro Paving.

One man showed up with a backhoe and  started picking away at the old driveway, then about 20 minutes later an army of guys with lots of equipment came.  They were fast and efficient.  Was and am very impressed with their workmanship, the driveway is holding up really well.

Called twice to get an estimate and finally got a call back.  Scheduled to meet the estimator.  He did not show up, no calls - nothing. Then get more calls from them to get the estimate.

Had my old driveway removed and repaved.  Did a great job at a good cost.  The guys were great and ncie to speak with.

This is a good company to work with.  They return phone calls, provide estimates, work with your schedule and get the job done.
