Avoid like the plague. They don't do the work you ask them to do but do the work they want padding the bill and expect you to pay a lot more money.

They did a beautiful job. I am not sure if its because I am an senior, and my husband is a Korean War Veteran, but they did that job for $2,000 less than everybody else. I knew they were quality, because they just did our street. I live in an residential area, about fifty houses in four streets. They resurfaced our streets the year before, and our town Sudbury uses them all the time. Their references are excellent. The guy gave me a great price for $5,000.  I watched them. They were such professional, and did a beautiful job.They were prompt. The initial date they called because of the weather, they didn't finish up the other property, and would be two days late. They came two days late, and called me the evening before. They said they would be out there, and they were. The only thing is you have to pay cash or check. You can't charge. That price they gave me I had to pay cash, which was fine. I saved so much. Quality was great. They kept me informed.

Not great at all. I heard from them they have been doing this for 25 year but they did not grade the driveway properly and they have an attitude when anything is not done properly

Lazaro did a fantastic job removing a 20+ year old asphalt driveway and then installing a new driveway. Very courteous and hard working crews. (Two separate crews--one for removing the old driveway; another installed the new driveway.) Great prep work after removing old asphalt. Note: they recycle the old asphalt. Work done one time and on budget. Great work. Wasn't the lowest bid we had received, but it was clearly a very professional job, Great value for the money paid! Family business. A member of the family led the install team and did the paving. His father did the estimate and answered all my questions. Good office support re scheduling. A pleasure to work with.

Lazaro is superb from start to finish! I called them because they'd done a great job on my next door neighbors last year. They responded promptly, and gave me a quote a couple of days later when they said they would. Their work was terrific - they let me know when they'd be there, came promptly & did a terrific job. They guys are experienced, & they also remembered doing my neighbor's last year. They were patient in answering all of my questions - both the office staff (Nicole is great, as is Rick the owner's father who does the estimates!) as well as the guys on the job at my house. I would highly recommend them.

Originally contacted Lazaro in the fall of 2014.  They had some ideas of things to do that other contractors didn't think of (provide piping so that the sump pump output and gutter downspouts would not drain onto the driveway).  Due to the weather, the couldn't do our project in the fall.  Early spring came along and we received an email asking about dates to do the work.  We managed to schedule the work during school vacation week (thereby avoiding having to have a police detail).
The crew arrived when scheduled to remove the old asphalt and prepare the base for the new work.  I had a few questions about the new layout, and somebody came out that evening to look and answer my questions (and made a slight adjustment to the layout).
Our only issue was with the time it took to come out and lay the new asphalt.  The removal was done on a Monday, but there was no communication about when the crew would come back to put in the new driveway (they finally arrived on Thursday).
The final project looks great, and we wish we had done it years earlier.

Called paving contractors for driveway replacement. Lazaro is the only one that responded in a timely manner. Had an estimate in hand within two weeks of the initial call. Once we accepted the estimate, the work was completed within another two weeks. The crew had the old driveway out in a morning and the new one in in another morning. Very clean, professional work with no damage to lawn, gardens, walkway, etc. Would definitely use them again.

They were quite busy during the summer months. They came fast for the initial assessment in end of April but didn't come for the job until end of august. Once they scheduled us, the job was done fairly fast. 
They did a great job. The driveway looks great. They also helped us move a boulder and remove a few stumps which was well appreciated. The guys are very friendly.
All together, we recommend them.

Mr. Lazaro was incredibly responsive, he followed up with me more than once to make sure that my appointment was scheduled as needed. The estimate was fair, he was very professional, and when we're ready to have the work done I will definitely consider using Lazaro Paving.

One man showed up with a backhoe and  started picking away at the old driveway, then about 20 minutes later an army of guys with lots of equipment came.  They were fast and efficient.  Was and am very impressed with their workmanship, the driveway is holding up really well.

Had my old driveway removed and repaved.  Did a great job at a good cost.  The guys were great and ncie to speak with.

This is a good company to work with.  They return phone calls, provide estimates, work with your schedule and get the job done.

My sales contact Dan was involved in the entire process, from coming out a couple times to walk the property and discuss plans, to being on-site during installation. He was very responsive to phone calls and questions and worked hard to address some of the questions I had with a series of estimates. Everyone at the company was very professional. The amount of heavy equipment brought to my property to do the job was impressive and the large work crew worked hard and efficiently. Though it may be some more money to hire a larger company like Lazaro, they have the proper equipment and trained crew to do the job right. The driveway looks great; nice and smooth with tight edges and good grading away from the house.

They were supposecd to return to do the job and they never showed up.  They kept telling us that were going to come out that week. We have now been waiting over 8 weeks for them to do the job and have just recently decided to go with another company

I originally I sent an email to them through Angie's list but I didn't hear anything. When I called them they said they don't get emails from Angie's. They then came within 2 days to do the estimate and provided the quote within another 2 days along with a list of jobs they had done within the last few years. It took us a couple of weeks to visit a few of the jobs on the list to ask if previous customers were happy. The 2 I spoke to said they would definitely recommend them.  I initially said we were in no hurry to have it done so I didn't hear from them again but I then contacted them and they called and said they were in the area and could come the next day. That wasn't going to work for us so they then called in another week or so and said, again, they would come the next day but not before noon. Well, they came the next day and showed up at 6:20 am! Unfortunately, they woke the neighbors up but they did a great job. They started and finished the job in 2 days.
I would have preferred at least 2 days notice for the start of the job but other than that, they were great.

It was a pleasure working with everyone (office personal and crew) at Lazaro. The work was done in the time frame we needed and to our complete satisfaction.
Everything they included in their proposal was done. All disturbed lawn areas were reseeded and they even repaired a few of the sprinkler heads that were broken. They carefully explained a few Dos and Don'ts for the new driveway to ensure that it would "cure" properly.

I found them on Angie's List. They are huge. They did a great job. They had different crews come in for the asphalt driveway and the cobblestone work, and each one did a great job. There were several people and they worked very quickly, and did a quality job.

A date for the project was confirmed.  A deposit was not required by the company.  The project started on the agreed upon date and took the amount of time as the company said it would.  All the old asphalt was removed and disposed of by the company, and a new asphalt driveway was laid in accordance with the project description.  There was one area in which the grade concerned us.  As this was not able to be addressed satisfactorily without changing the overall appearance of the driveway, the company removed the newly laid asphalt and redid the whole project. The final result was a perfect (my wife and I are perfectionists) asphalt driveway. Ryan Lazaro was phenomenal and made every effort to ensure that the customer was completely satisfied and the driveway was of a very high standard.  I would have no hesitation recommending Lazaro Paving.
