Thus far the work completed on the job includes: installation of a new gas generator and power panel, replacement of existing knob and tube wiring throughout the house (most of the knob and tube wiring was in place on the 2nd and 3rd floors making it especially challenging), installation of recessed lighting in various locations throughout the building, installation of all new light fixtures (over 70) including 3 very large exterior light poles and fixtures.
Rob's work is exceptional and the cool thing about these guys (Rob and Jay) is that that's a given. From the beginning and THROUGH THE ENTIRE PROJECT I never questioned their work. But you have to see the whole picture - their professionalism, work ethic, communication and commitment to doing the job well. I never had to worry about them ensuring the building was secure at the end of the night. Rob was exceptional in working with us throughout the project to ensure that our expectations were being met/exceeded. He made some excellent suggestions in terms of location of lights, "switch logic", cost saving opportunities, etc. Furthermore, Rob worked with us and two other contractors (fire alarm and security). At our request Rob took ownership of running those wires throughout the building. He worked collaboratively with the other contractors, connected with them when I requested he do so and, just as important, reported back to me when I needed to be aware of a change/situation/issue.
For those of you reading this review thinking, "well sure, this was a big job, obviously they were good", don't let that be the thought you are left with. I wrote a separate review on this company regarding a $250 job that exceeded my expectations. In addition to having the necessary technical skills these guys are hard-working, trustworthy, polite, professional and their work is VERY fairly priced.
While this project is coming to a close I'm happy to know that I've found an electrician who I can call on in the future for jobs small and large. In fact, we've already started to discuss exterior work at my residence :). Call Rob (Lou), you will NOT be disappointed.
I highly recommend Rob (Lou) and Jay for their work, professionalism, price point and responsiveness. They are an excellent team!
