It was excellent. We had a basic list of ideas and wants - number of bedrooms, bathrooms, placements for specific rooms (e.g. laundry, sun room, mud room, etc). Kecia then came over for several hours, put on her headphones and vanished into the space - from attic to basement - returned home, then came back about a week later with several ideas of varying scope and scale. 
She was extremely creative dealing with some significant constraints upstairs around a stairwell and moved walls back and around to produce a wide, comfortable hallway leading to four bedrooms, with room for stuff we hadn't anticipated, like a new linen closet, angular landing, etc. It's an awesome space now -and her idea for the master bedroom is outstanding (she pulled together parts of multiple rooms to create a huge suite with a walk-in closet, big master bath and private patio). 
 In the downstairs, she created a very open flow with tons of light and a very open feel around the kitchen and family/dining room space. 
Overall, it went incredibly well. She comes by throughout the project to look over the builder's work at the framing stage, to make sure everything is happening correctly, and she coordinates with the structural engineers to get the specs done right (through to the signed affidavit for the builder and inspections). 
What's really important to note is that she seems to just love what she does, period, and it shows. When you look at her Facebook portfolio, you can see that she's done mega mansions from scratch, summer estates, as well as reinventions like our own house, on through to just single rooms like kitchens or bathrooms. She also does hardscaping too. 
We would absolutely recommend her and work with her again the next time we decided to do something even close to this scale.
