After telling us that the injection into the root zone and pruning would help the survival of the tree (a magnificent birch), we agreed to have the work done.
After the roots were fed, they came back to prune. At that time, the young man who was to prune the tree told us it was a wasted effort as the tree would probably not survive. He loped a few branches off and left.
We had to pay for the full service, even though the pruning we had anticipated did not have to be done.
HAD we known the tree would not likely survive even with the injection and pruning, we would have not spent over a $1, 000 to save it.
