Ordered 2 Yards of 3/8 inch gravel and they sent me 3/4 and when the delivery driver realized his mistake that the company made they offered me a free make up delivery of 1 yard of the actual material I ordered. Turns out the owner doesn't want to admit mistakes were made and denied me any accomdation for the wrong material I was provided and told me to deal with it. Management was completely unprofessional and they clearly have no clear communication between their low level workers and higher ups. Price may be good but it comes at the horrific cost of terrible customer servuce. Owner doesn't understand that when anyone in the company makes a mistake they are the ones that are help accountable. Shouldn't trust a word or any promise they make. Driver couldn't even keep the simple promise of calling me before he arrived.

They did a good job with the clean up, but an awful job on the gutters. We don't know if we are going to call them back again. It just they did an awful job with the clean up with the gutters. They left them dirty. Like covered in mud under the house.

My husband's first-hand experience with Greenfields--
I initially reached out to Greenfields for an estimate of work and had an appointment for late morning. At the appointment time, no one came. I called the number, and it was immediately hung up. Three hours later, Bryan showed up and explained his phone had died. Fair enough, I thought, as two of the other three landscapers I called didn't even bother to show up. I asked Bryan to start right away, as I had family coming by on the weekend, and the grass had not been cut for several weeks. Came the weekend, it was done, so I was happy. I received a bill for $45, which I thought as high, but it was convenient.
Things continued on that path for the summer and into the fall, which is when things began to fall apart. My first leaf removal was $30, which was fair. What was not fair, however, was that I was being charged every other week for the lawn being mowed--on one such date, I was actually home, and the lawn was not even mowed! They piled up the leaves and left, all within 10 minutes. I noted the date and time, and called Bryan. He was agreeable (though skeptical) and credited me back that fee. I was pleased with them for fixing the mistake, but upset that if I had not been home and seen it, I would never have known. Lawns in the fall do not need to be mowed with that much frequency.
The next issue came from the leaf collection. One of the crew sprayed the side door of my house with mud and left it while collecting leaves. A white door with white walls, covered in mud, and they decided to leave it. I complained again and it was cleaned the following week. Again, I felt like I should not have to call to complain about something so obvious. And again I was met with skepticism regarding my complaint, which I did not appreciate.
The last straw came with the and quot;fall cleanupand quot;. My bills up until that point had been higher than I would have liked, but reasonable (and justifiable). The and quot;fall cleanupand quot; bill came in at $300, and $500 for the month! I called and asked what exactly and quot;fall cleanupand quot; entailed, and I was told it was leaf and branch removal (when I was being charged separately for leaf removal). I told them I did not request such an expensive service, nor was I notified that it was coming. Bryan told me he didn't believe in contracts, but it seemed to me a contract would have benefited every party at the time. When I voiced my concerns, Bryan agreed to cut the fee in half, which made me question the amount of work even done. I am a fair person, and will pay for work that has been done. However, to so easily reduce such a fee when only moments ago arguing the validity of work done for said fee, naturally made me wonder how legitimate this operation was.
At that point I paid a fair portion of the bill (though still unsure as to what exactly was done) and terminated my service with Greenfields Landscaping. I used the monthly cost of the service to buy a single lawnmower and perform the work myself. I was somewhat satisfied with Greenfields' work, but the drastic upcharge (with no protection from a contract) infuriated me to the point that I could not continue to employ them for their services. I would strongly recommend having a contract or expecting to pay massive upcharges for vague work orders.
My own take--
For the few times I was at home (during the summer), each and quot;routine lawn mowingand quot; did not take more than half an hour, probably more like 20 minutes. Given the size of our lawn, and noticing that there were 2-3 people working each time, the weekly charge of $30-45 was reasonable. However, their and quot;fall cleanupand quot; which amounted to $300 on the bill was not justified at all. They claimed that they had 3 people working, but given that these workers could not have stayed on our property for an hour or more, the charge compared to the actual amount of work done is simply outrageous. I agree on the fact that if they would reduce the price in a heartbeat, it makes one wonder if they should be posting the original amount to begin with. Buyer beware.

Brian and his crew were consummate professionals. He showed up quickly to perform my estimate, got a fair number back to me within a day or so, and then kept me informed as we approached the day of the work. Day-of they showed up right on time, got to work immediately, and finished the project before the end of the day. Brian also took time out to make some suggestions for improvements to my yard, and he's getting me another estimate on some additional work.
Brian also put me in touch with Sharon Tree Service (they also get an A) to remove some dead trees that were covered in poison ivy. It was a great experience all-around and I would happily recommend him in the future.

This is the day after Greenfields landscaping came- one of my cars was not in the driveway when they plowed so that spot is clear... The other car as you can see is plowed in... Thank god we didn't have an emergency- by the way they almost hit the parked car!

They are very detailed oriented, their employees have been with the company for an extended period of time, on average 10 years, and think they provide me with an extra service.

They are phenomenal. I still use them. Not only for landscaping but I hired him to design a problematic patio in an area where we had a sink-hole. He designed a drainage system underneath and had to excavate clay underneath and they did a spectacular job. I have them do my landscaping. They also do masonry work for me. I would never hire anyone else. His staff is the best. What I love best besides the phenomenal work and vision is the staff. I had to completely renovate my landscaping due to the prior owners. We had to take a bunch of trees out and put in new landscaping and a new lawn. I wanted things that were hardy and easy to care for. He really did a phenomenal job. His guys work for him every single year. His staff is loyal. He doesn't have turnover. He has the best staff and I love these young men. They are like my sons. I trust them implicitly.

Excellent follow through. The prices are competitive . He does phenomenal work. He rebuilt my patio and did a great job. Amazing masonry. Reliable service and very customer oriented. He was on time for the job and did more then anticipated. He designed a patio and corrected all of the grading of the land. He repaired the drainage because we had a leak. I highly recommend him.
