Thursday morning I went to shop told them I needed to call a cab if I leave car, they gave me ride home. Called back in couple hours telling me reason car would start sometimes and not others was due to the starter .While repairing that they found reason for burning odor I was smelling was due to leak in radiator. They said had to order that would get by Monday.They called Sunday, put in special order no charge to me , they got it Saturday and it was completed Sunday. They came to my house picked me up and took me to get my car.Very nice to deal with.Highly Recommend !!!!!

It went fine. The reason why I went with them was because they were offering a huge rebate. The price was low with the rebate.

During that time of the oil change they inspected brakes (not by my request). The expert mechanic said rotors were worn. Then they found out that the store replaced them and were still under warranty at which point they miraculously fixed themselves. When oil change was finished I started to leave the lot and the steering was making a load sound and power steering was almost non-existent when turning to left. Went back in and they put it on left and said they didn't damage anything during oil change. They then had me waiting almost 3 more hours while another expert supposedly checked it. During this time the service manager left for the day, another expert put it back together while first one left. The manager who was on said they didn't know what problem was, but would replace power steering pump to see if that would fix it at $900. I wanted the original manager but when called he relayed that if I had a problem to call corporate office. I left there and went to a real mechanic - the problem was not the pump but a line that fed the fluid to steering system . Unfortunately he could not say what had caused the failure.

Their service was average and it took about 30 to 45 minutes to do the work. The quality of the work they did was average; it is a decent place to go to.

My husband discovered that the back tire on the passenger side looked flat as he was leaving for work. I was alone with my two-year-old, with plans to. go out of town later today. I needed someone who could be honest about the possibility getting my tire fixed today and to stay true to their service times because I would have my child with me when I dropped the car off (and she has a low tolerance for auto repair). I called Pep Boys. The rep told me to come in at 10:30, and they would take me then (I showed up on time, and they looked at my car immediately.) I was told that they would try to patch the tire, and they gave me the run down of costs. They also said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Their estimates for time and cost were on target, and I was very happy with the service.

You don't really have to make an appointment, and you can wait for your car. They usually have enough workers there so you can be in and out within an hour. They're open 7 days a week, and during the week they're open until 9 PM.

Smooth. Took me in right away. They had the best deal on good tires.
