M Young Paving

Very poor workmanship, driveway floods like crazy. They won’t come to fix it even though it is it inches low in one area and floods have the driveway. Pitches back into the garage and plants are already pushing through 3 months later. Paid for a driveway and got a lake. Keep getting the run around and no repair after 3.5 months. Save yourself the aggravation and use someone else. Waited years to save for a new driveway and it’s worse than it was before.

Young's Paving is a highly professional and extremely capable and knowledgeable paving company. They basically had to clean up some problems with a previous installation of a new driveway in which they had played a part, due to the failures of the other company involved. Mark Young, the owner of the business, took personal responsibility for making good on the job. It was clear from the start, and remained the case, that he was totally committed to ensuring that I was fully satisfied. He offered the most comprehensive solution, which was a lot more expensive for him and a lot more work, because that would produce the best result. And then he did it, on the promised schedule, and to excellent quality. We are indeed fully satisfied with the result. Young's also has the most extensive fleet and equipment and retains quality workers, so they can do anything. They are clearly the best in the Mass and RI region, and we'd strongly recommend them!

 When I called back in the spring I kept getting voice mails and when I finally talked to Mark he said the price I paid did not include the sealcoat. I was not happy about this but asked when he could come back to do it. After numerous calls with "I'm busy, call me back this weekend" I still have not got them back to seal coat it. I ended up getting someone else to do the driveway and did my other driveway as well for a great price.
I will never use this company again and recommend that you steer clear of them or you will be sorry!

They showed up when they were supposed to, coordinated with both us and our tenants (not easy to deal with) at one property.  Completed the job adequately.  The sealcoat job was excellent.  Cracks were filled very nicely and it looks like new.

Guys showed up just before dark with a truck full of hot material, and worked very fast to do the job before the material cooled. They did not adequately prepare the newly paved areas. The result is that those areas have sunk and cracked, and I actually have plants growing up through the asphalt. I can show you photos of flowers blooming in the middle of my driveway. They have refused my several requests that they come and make repairs under their warranty.

I did not contact this company, they stopped me while I was pulling out of my driveway, which was strange. Saying they were doing my neighbor's driveway and had extra material. Said they'd give me a great deal. I did get a fair price, however, the sales tactics were not professional. They did not have "extra" material. I described what I would like done and he said he could do that (my driveway did need repairing at the bottom where it was starting to develop a large hump in the middle). Once they started work, he tried to convince me to do the whole driveway, saying he did indeed have enough materials to do the whole thing. That's when I realized the use of extra materials was just a way to get his foot in the door. Beware of these tactics. If I was not a skeptic, they would have convinced me to repave my driveway, which, for the most part, is in decent shape! However, for what they did, the price was decent and the quality was good. So know what you really need done and don't do any more.
