Peter presented 4 design options including 1 that increased kitchen & bedroom space up to 20% by removing unused chimney, which we chose. Estimates were accurate with few extras. Workmanship exceeded expectations. Especially since the house was built in 1949.

Peter Sabean did a great job with my home office remodel. The house is several hundred years old, therefore nothing was square - and it wasnt easy to get a built in set of shelfs or doors that fit. Peter found ways to account for all this and the finished product came out great! He was easy to work with and responsive as well. I will definitely use him for all projects going forward.

Double Built-in bunkbeds I have been working on finishing my attic for a while and one of the last parts of the project was custom bunkbeds.   I did not have the time to take on this part of the project and started searching for someone take on this phase.   My wife found Peter on Home Advisor and scheduled and introductory call.  Peter showed up on time and was very open about the work he had done in the past and was excited about helping us with the project.  Peter explained how he would handle the project.  There would be two phases, the design phase and the build phase and Build) and he laid out what to expect in each phase.   Working with Peter on the design phase was great, I felt like I was part of the team.  Peter used a 3D CAD tool to mock-up the design and we reviewed each iteration together until we landed on the final design.  This process took about two weeks during which we had three or four meetings to review the updates. Once we agreed on the final design, we moved on to the build phase.  We took delivery of the lumber and Peter started the build.  The project took two and a half weeks to complete. At different points during this phase Peter would solicit feedback which I truly appreciated.  Peter completed the project on time, on budget and the final product looks amazing!  We canâ t wait to work with Peter on the next project

Peter was great to work with. He s professional, listened to my ideas, presented a great design and executed it on budget and on time, maybe even faster. My remodel included refiguring a space with a kitchen, full bath and small entry/mud room, in a historic home with a lot of attention to details. He and the builder and their crews were professional, kind, funny, we really had a great time. They were onsite every day and included us in all decisions. It was a great process and I highly recommend him.

He was very professional and has done everything I asked for, Is still working on the project. He is rather expensive but is very reliable. I would definitely hire him again. He never hesitated to do extra things when they came up.

He was unable to make the repair with the tools he had brought with him. We talked over the options and he went out and bought some tools that were needed just to do this repair.

Peter was very helpful fixing our front entryway after a snow storm. We hired him to come back again in the spring to replace our front porch (which he provided a reasonable estimate within a few hours). Very honest & reliable.

He's very knowledgeable about things that have to be done and he is very detailed oriented. He makes sure everything is just right.

I needed someone to replace a single pane in a 9-pane exterior door. I wasn't exactly sure how to classify this project so went with Glass Repair. I called several Glass Repair companies that came up but they were either unable or unwilling to take on this small project. I called Peter at Sabean Design hoping that he might be able to help out. Although probably outside of his normal business activities, he was extraordinarily kind and agreed to come by and take a look and said that he could probably help me out. He came by today and was able to repair the window in a couple hours for a very reasonable price. I'd be happy to use Peter again for any of my home improvement projects!
