"Monday 6-21-21 Hello Lauren, I do apologize for the delay. The original person you spoke with within the office has been out for over two weeks now due to illness and I was unaware of your call until I reviewed the voicemail this afternoon when I returned to the office today. Your doors were installed two weeks ago on Monday 6-7-21, and we had to come back the next day to finish due to the heatwave of 100-degree temperature. The horizontal track on the garage door needed an adjustment because your existing side door was originally sitting in the opening too high and hitting the track when it swung in. This was one of your concerns and was checked off your list when we returned the second day to finish the install. The Technician did inform your husband that he did indeed have to remove the sports equipment rack because it was blocking the installation mounting bracket of the new track system. It might have been an overlook to reattach the 2x4 back onto the wall for the rack, we do apologize, and that will be taken care of. The perimeter of the door needs to be flat and free of any build-up such as paint or caulking, so the garage door will have a tight seal with no gaps. Before the customer signs off on the invoice the technician cleans up the floor of any debris, cardboard, nails, etc, and wipes down the door, and goes over the install with the customer before the job is complete which I am confused as to why you have signed off if there is a checklist to still go through. I will call you in the morning to see if you are available to come by and go over the checklist. Again I do apologize. Sincerely Sal."
"Hello Mike, I never received a call from you because if I had, I would have come out right away. We were experiencing technical issues with the phone for the last 2 weeks.
