Roofing
It has been about 3 years since J&M Roofing put a roof on my house.
I was very unhappy with the job. History: 1. To begin with, they put
part of the roofing on wrong...the front had a long (7 foot) seam where
the shingles came together incorrectly. Very unsightly. I had to have
them come back to re-roof a large part of the front of the house. 2.
The flashing they installed was so poorly done (uneven, wavy, slipping out) that I had
to hire someone to come and re-do it...J&M would not. 3. When they
threw the old shingles off the roof to install the new, some of the
shingles came down and scratched an expensive window pane. 4. Before
they came, I had a long custom-made copper gutter installed over the front door.
When J&M left the job, the copper gutter went missing. 5. 2
winters ago the roof leaked, and they had to repair it. 6. Since the
time they put the roof on, several shingles have blown off...the latest a
month ago. I have called them repeatedly to fix this last problem, but
they do not answer my calls. I have had to hire another company to
come make the repairs.
