Salem & Tobin TV

I had to take my 42and quot; plasma tv to the shop, but the owner helped me carry it inside and was very courteous. The problem was diagnosed by the day he told me it would, and it was ready for pick-up on time as well. The charge was very reasonable, I thought, especially since one is at the mercy of the shop. They could have told me almost anything, and I wouldn't have been able to argue against it. I have nothing but good things to say about Salem and Tobin TV.

They were fine; they were great. We were happy with them and they were reasonable. They were efficient. They were not a huge company. We were supporting a local place and they did well. It didn't take forever and they fixed it. It didn't cost too much. The price was decent.

Was as easy, effective and good as it gets. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if they had picked it up and delivered it. (They may offer that but I didn't check.)

Bottom line: parts were not available for this TV, which we were aware of from the get-go, but the owner of the shop said that he would try to find and repair the problem, if that was the avenue that I wanted to pursue...which I did. I felt very comfortable with the charge to transport and evaluate the TV and understood that it might be impossible to fix. The owner of the shop took time to explain everything that I needed to know to make an informed decision. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge of tvs.

I called and explained the problem which was quickly diagnosed. The two gentlemen came within a few days to again diagnose the problem (color wheel needed to be replace). The set was taken to the shop for repair which was done within a week. The gentlemen were professional and handled my large HDTV with care, returning in covered, as it was raining that day. It is great to have a local shop work on my TV.

When we buy things from them they come and set it up for us. They are local. They seem to have a good attitude. Their prices are comparative.
