Dr. Freedman has a no nonsense, logical, common sense approach. Since he has some homeopathic training, he is willing to offer more than one option for care, giving the pet owner choices. My past vet, didn't give me more than one choice for care, usually the most expensive one. As a cat mother, I want the option that gives my elderly cat the best quality of life for the remainder of his life. Also, I have a dog with food allergies and allergies to immunizations. He is willing to listen and try what works best for my dog. I am happy with the flexibility offered at Hawthorne.

Dr. Freedman is very knowledgeable and researches treatment options . Theyand lsquo;re good with scheduling appointments and offer extended hours and every other weekend appointments. They also offer acupuncture services. The prices are fair.

Doctors Friedman and Rotner have treated my animals for years now. We have gone through chemo for a dog who had Lymphoma and more recently, the brittle diabetes of another dog. I have found the doctors in this practice to be responsive, professional and caring. Dr. Friedman has called to check on my dog over the weekend. When I went to India for 6 weeks and my diabetic dog stayed with a friend, he spent a lot of time on the phone with her answering questions and making sure she felt comfortable with a dog whose diabetes was frequently on tilt. The only dings I would offer are the lack of emergency services and their prices, which I think are a little on the high side. Dr. Friedman will be seeing my next dog.

Dr. Freedman is really careful; our cat is twelve years old now and he has been sort of her exclusive care provider. He remembers her health conditions and he remembers to call me back, and if he thinks there is something else, he consults with a colleague and he gives me information. He clearly goes above and beyond than being careful with her care. She's having an issue right now and I brought her in to be weighed this week, but Dr. Freedman came out and actually talked to me about what was going on and to pay attention and explained the medications that she has being put on.
