A&B Housecleaning

I purchased 2 cleaning coupons on Angie's List from Angela at A&B House Cleaning. One for $119 and one for $149. She has stiffed us on both of them. I have called her numerous times to try to try to get her to do the cleaning and she simply will not do it. The first time she said me she "I hurt my leg and cannot clean" The second time she said "I sold my business" The 3rd and most recent time she said "I don't work for Angie's List anymore" - which of course does not make any sense. I have put in a complaint with Angie's List and confirmed that I have (2) A&B House Cleaning coupons labeled as "NOT REDEEMED". Obviously, I have asked for a refund and she just continues to say "I don't work for Angie's List anymore" If you hire her, you are apparently throwing your money away. I am not sure where these other reviews come from.

It went extremely well. Angela arrived prior to 9:00 AM and hit the ground running. She and her partner left my home spotless! I recently had some construction done at my house so I had quite a bit of dust. After the cleaning, there were no specs of dust left anywhere. I was very impressed by the quality of their work and I would definitely bring them back again!

Angela the house cleaner (A & B) arrived on time and for a fair price, cleaned our home thoroughly! She is incredibly professional and has a very kind disposition. I recommend her highly!

Angela is the only cleaning company we use for about 2 years now. Her high quality is consistent. I trust her implictly in my home while I am not there. She respects our privacy, and treats us and our home with respect. She is very friendly and professional, and is wonderful with our dogs and children. She cares for us and our home. We highly recommend Angela.

A+B House Cleaning has been working for me for 9 years. Always on time, always professional, Al. Excellent results for the money spent. Friendly, reliable, prompt.

This was a $99 big deal purchase for deep housecleaning. They are alright, nothing great. They really don't do deep cleaning and they shouldn't say deep cleaning. They just do regular cleaning. They did the work, but it was nothing that I thought it would be. They came and did surface stuff. The ad was very misleading. It is disappointing that you don't get what you think you are paying for. The people don't speak English. They were responsive and came back when I sent the email; they came right back. They were on time.

My experience was okay. It was not really great. It was not bad. They did do good enough job. I think I expected more based on their advertisement, but there were no complaints. There were no additional costs to the Big Deal. They came the day they said they would. The house was clean when I came home. They did a fine service.

After postponing the appointment for a week, Angela and another women arrived on time to do a deep clean of the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms.  Angela did a very good job with the first bathroom.  The other women did a poor job with the second bathroom.  The cabinets were not cleaned out, the counter and the floor were dirty.
Exactly 2 hours after they arrived they said they were done and were going to leave.  My friend pointed out that they did not do the job that was advertised.  The description specifically listed everything that was included in the deep cleaning.  They did not clean out the kitchen cabinets and they only cleaned only part of the counter top.  Angela asked my friend how much I had paid for the cleaning, as if that mattered.  They tried to tell her that they were only supposed to be there for 2 hours.  The other women began speaking to Angela in Spanish, telling her they had to leave.  Little did they know that my friend speaks Spanish and understood exactly what they were saying.  They blamed Angie's List for the description of the service, as if they had nothing to do with it.  They also said they don't even use Angie's List anymore!  I looked them up and I see that they have 2 specials advertised right now.
My friend did not allow them to leave until they finished the job as advertised.  I will never hire them again and I would never recommend that anyone else hire them!
(I gave the price an A because a deep clean of the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms for $119 would deserve an A, if that is what you actually get)

They were okay. I have one full bath and half a bath that I wanted cleaned. My refrigerator was cleaned pretty well and oven. The woman who did the refrigerator and the oven did a good job. The bathrooms were really weren't very  clean. The floors was  like they haven't been touched and I had wanted the bath tub shower area cleaned very well but it wasn't they didn't even scrubbed the bottom of the tub so I really can't say that they did a good job. The price was excellent.  I will not use them again.

Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom.

They did a fantastic Job cleaning all 3 levels of our home. They swept, mopped, dusted and even washed dishes. They also  vacuumed and polished our appliances. They had to clean around moving boxes and furniture that is out of place but they made it work cleaning around these obstacles and the general clutter that renovation brings.  I would definitely recommend them to a friend or someone else we were very happy with the results.

My experience with them went okay. They did their job. I wasn't a deep cleaning like I expected. It was just a regular cleaning. It wasn't what it was described in the ad. The description was deep cleaning. They were supposed to do the cabinets also and they didn't go through my cabinets. They wiped down a few things here and there. I wouldn't use them again unless they did the deep cleaning, as promised.
