Clear Space Garage and Closet Storage Solutions

Lance and Cindy from Clear Space are fantastic! We wanted a closet system that optimized the available space, gave HIM hooks galore for hats and clothes (that he otherwise won't hang up), gave HER the shoe racks of her dreams, provided LOTS of storage options, AND looked gorgeous in our newly renovated MBR. They noted everything on our wish list, and were able to show us actual products in their demo trailer (coolest set up I've ever seen!). Their pricing was fair, they provided 3D renderings (that helped tremendously), and they did a perfect job of installing the closet system. The outcome was EXACTLY what they promised and EXACTLY what we wanted. On a scale of one to ten, I'd give them a 100. They're truly a professional team offering great products and service. I cannot recommend them enough.

Upon arrival cardboard and tarps were placed on the floors from the outside to where work was to be performed. One worker concentrated on the inside removing existing trim while the other worked on the removal of the outside siding. Since window replacement was performed in the December / January time fame, contractor was very conscientious about home heat loss while the old window was out of the house before the new window was installed. Contractor offered to put up plastic where doors could not be used to reduce heat loss. At the end of each day "old" material / scraps were removed from the site.
Contractor followed published Andersen Window procedures for window installation and used a combination of foam and pieces of insulation batts for insulation. Once the windows were placed in the opening, windows were leveled and check for squareness before being nailed in place. Windows were trimmed (both inside and out) as agreed in the quote.
One windows was too close to the existing roof of an addition previously built to the house. Contractor showed me that water from the roof had stained the rough opening and old window. He recommended a shorter window be installed. Contractor took responsibility for modification of the rough opening and for not seeing the problem ahead of time. He purchased a new window (shorter) to insure proper installation. The shorter window cause the contractor to, reflash the roof area, add new wallboard, joint compound and sand. This additional work was absorbed by the contractor. All I needed to do is paint the installed wallboard and joint compound using existing leftover paint from the room's last painting.
With the installation of the new bay windows; time was taken to make sure the cable support system was properly installed and the window was level. Side window were checked and recheck of squareness relative to the bay window frame. Batt insulation was installed above the bay window and rigid insulation was installed below.
Clear Space was not the lowest quote I received, however the quality of the window installation more than made up for the additional cost. I have piece of mind the job was done right.
