They are professional, on time, and do a great job.  They finished the job in our time frame and within budget.

He abandoned the job for a family member before completion.  At that time, the job was 9 months past the contracted completion date.  Do not trust anything this man says or you will regret it.

Like typical construction jobs, you need to have the correct expectations set with respect to material delivery leadtimes.  If you've accomodated for being without the space that you are having remodeled, then you'll enjoy the experience.

The roof worked out excellent and we were very satisfied with them.  They used a subcontractor for part of the work.  However, they still had someone on site every day to make sure the work was done correctly and everything was cleaned up at the end of day.  We would definitely use them again in the future and I would recommend them to others.

The Goodfellas team was very impressive. Dale and Joe are very involved owners of their company, checking in with us regularly to make sure the job was going as planned. This was important to us as I had heard horror stories from friends and family of contractors vanishing before the job was finished. With Goodfellas there was none of that. Even when they had to leave our job for a day or so (mostly due to material delivery confusion) Dale would call, explain the situation and let us know when they would be back. Dale and Joe even did a thorough walk through at the end of the job to make sure we were totally satisfied -- which we were. The job came in on budget and done before the planned completion date. In fact, the job would have come in under budget had we not requested change orders that increased the cost. They also recently completed a 1-year check in to make sure all was STILL as we wanted. When we mentioned a slight buckling in the new hardwood floor near the new door, Dale had the carpenter replace the section in question even though it probably wasn't their doing that it buckled. Due to the fact that we have an old house (built in 1910) we were very concerned that the work would compliment the style if not match it. The carpenter from Goodfellas did an excellent job matching the interior trim and the quality of his work was top-notch. Details were just as important to the Goodfellas crew as they were to us. One of the best recommendations we got for Goodfellas was actually from the salesman for their competition who replied to my telling him we had decided to go with Goodfellas, "Well, if you're not going with us, they are the best out there. There is more work to be done on our house and we are happy to know that we no longer have to find a contractor to do the work as long as Goodfellas is around!

Everything went very well. Owners are very concerned about quality of work done. When slip-ups happened (which they always do) the problems were rectified. Gave quotes , not estimates , and only had one unexpected expense (found after demolition occurred). The guys on-site were professional and friendly as well. Very concerned about quality, and doing the right thing. They have established relationships with quality sub-contractors as well.

Phenomenal. True to their company's name, the Goodfellas are indeed very good fellows. Sounds kind of corny, but true. I found them off Angie's List and did the usual investigation to ensure that they do good work. I was impressed by them in four ways. First, they do good work. No question about that. Second, they are very responsive. Their project managers carry blackberries and they respond usually within 24 hours via email or by phone. Third, their cost was only slightly higher than two other contractors from which I got quotes from. I believe Goodfellas can maintain such a pricing structure because they drive deep discounts with materials. For example, the flooring company told us that they don't give similar discounts to other companies. Fourth, they are very organized. They will give you estimates and will stick to that throughout. If something else comes up (e.g., we had a bathroom leak), that will charge you extra through a separate change order. Very professional.

From beginning to end - the process was great. They took a long time to do the design work, brought in a kitchen designer to help and then made sure we were happy with the final design before they started the work. Every subcontractor that they brought in, as well as their own carpenters were amazing! They were meticulous in every aspect and a pleasure to work with. At the end of the project we were up against the holidays and I had parties scheduled so they added more help and met the deadline. Even under the pressure of the abbreviated deadline - the guys did not sacrifice quality. I love what they did and will work with them again in the near future! I would highly recommend to anyone that wants the job done right the first time and on time!
