"Thank you [Member Name Removed] for taking the time to write a review. If you need any assistance in the future please reach out."
"Hi [Member Name Removed], Thank you for the great review! I am glad that we were able to assist you."
Superb installation throughout. One air handling system condensate lift-pump subsequently and inconsistently tripped one panel board breaker. thus defeating the AC system periodically. Harlan returned to the job and, after a complete inspection and diagnosis process, rewired the pump to prevent future power interruptions. All has been well since.
He was on time, professional and quick. He points out areas / things that you need to do differently, should do differently, and things that would really just be a waste of money. As the job spiraled from one of relatively small scope, to an expansive rewire of the entire house, (not his fault, just the reality of old houses) he rolled right along with us. Long after the GC was gone, Harlan stayed with us, pulling out old BX cable (bad, old stuff) putting in ceiling fans in bedrooms, lights in closets, outlets where we didn't know we needed them. He gave us the scope and price of each new level electrical h*** we descended into. He was up front, told us when he could realistically do it, then did it very professionally and cleanly. If he really couldn't get it done for a while, he'd tell you. That would be the only 'negative' I could say about him. Sometimes it would take a while for him to get back up here, but he's busy. He does very good work, is reasonably priced, so the wait is worth it. I will say, if there was ever an emergency, or something needed to be done the next day (like outlets wired before the appliances installed) he was always there.
In summary; he
- rewired all wiring. (we removed all the interior walls)
- installed pot, hanging pendants, chandelier, and regular lights
- outlets, new swtiches
- hardwired carbon and smoke detectors
He's a young kid (mid-twenties) who owns his own company, works hard, is very professional, honest and just gets it. That's the best way I can describe him. Some people get it, most don't. He does. Also, he can pretty much fix anything mechanical. I had a project where I made a barn door and bought 100 year old hinges to match the house. He helped (told me how to, them did it himself when I couldn't) me fix the hinges, then hang the door. There is no way I could have done either without his help.
