This job went incredibly well. I am hiring Mr. Driscoll again. I use the formal term Mr. Driscoll here in the review to accord him respect because Jerry is a true professional. His work is sterling, and I feel quite fortunate to have found him. I used Angie’s List because I wanted to interview and hire someone who had already been screened. He fit the bill and we are working on a number of small, but important, projects together. I say together because he is highly collaborative. He is also creative in his problem-solving, and even can make recommendations for tasks or products that you can pursue on your own, He is also flexible and adaptable. If you have a straightforward job, and all directions and wishes are clear, he can just go ahead and complete it on his own. It is up to you. He automatically keeps the workspace safe and cleans everything up. He carts away any debris in his truck. This shows his thoroughness and thoughtful approach to his chosen work. It is, unfortunately, not a common approach, and seems to be old fashioned. This is why I have provided a long review. However, if you have a goal in mind, if you request it, he can consult with you and give you his ideas—-all of which he can carry through. But, he is respectful of your inclinations and decisions. He is happy when you are happy, and his customer service is second to none. Jerry is highly personable. He is a highly skilled communicator and project manager. Nothing seems to throw him, and he has patience and displays an even disposition. He will amicably chat enough to make sure you are on the same wavelength, but not so much that he sacrifices time on the project or progress on tasks. He is always on time and delivers what he promises. He manages time well. His value added is not only that is he highly skilled at all the tasks I requested, but also that he is highly experienced and energetic. He is capable, I believe, of much more complicated and substantial work than I asked of him. For example, I would trust him to build a shed or do some hardscape landscaping—-if he wanted to take that on. I just needed him to spruce up my living space by adding shelves, artwork, a pot rack, hanging hooks, and so forth. I live in a very small space and needed someone to help me make the most of it for storage and to install some finishing homey touches. Jerry’s work is impeccable and precise. Also, everything he secured to the wall is secure—it won’t fall down or get pulled down easily. I could never have accomplished this on my own. He knows precisely what tools and materials to use, and will even source them for you. Another attribute is that he sees the big picture. He can diagnose problems and come up with creative solutions—without breaking the bank. I never met Jerry before. So I have no vested interest that led me to this glowing review. I thought it would be worth it to take the time because i know it is hard to find someone reliable to do these things.
