Generations Woodworking

Description of Work: We most recently used George to build and install some custom drawers for our spare bedroom. The original drawers to the built-in had been hand made by the previous home owner and were heavy and difficult to slide. Unfortunately, they were also an unusual size - very deep and wide. George made a new set of drawers and came over on last-minute notice to install them as we were preparing for visitors in our home. The new drawers are much lighter and slide so smoothly that even our toddler can use them. Originally we used George to create and install a custom countertop in our kitchen. While working with him on the countertop, we saw how beautiful his woodworking skills were from the pieces in his shop, and he designed and built a beautiful table from a cross-cut of an old tree as a Christmas gift. I wish I could post a picture because I couldn't do the beauty and uniqueness of this piece justice in words.
