Their price was a little higher than internet-based providers (~5-10%). However, the service provided more than made up for the difference. Russ came out and measured and came back to install. We used them on two occasions. The first time was for a single window treatment in our bathroom. They provided the same level of service for a small job as for a large job.

Great experience - not a "cheap" purchase, but a sound investment for an excellent job at a fair price. I went into the store and spoke with Russell Sr. who walked me through the options and cost. I appreciated his methodical approach and focus on quality and life/support of the product. Based on our conversation I asked them to come measure and give me a quote. Russell Jr. came out to do the measurements and again provided knowledgable advise. We got a quick quote and decided to move forward - installation was quick and efficient and the end product looks great and keeps the room warm! Even when I had a snafu with my bank in paying, and Russell Jr. was patient and magnanimous while I sorted it out. The "Russell's" are a great team who really know their product, focus on quality, and stand behind it. Great to work with them.

Russ, Jr. was terrific. He took time to visit our home and explain shade options to me and my wife, and he was the person who personally installed our shades. He took all the worry out of the process, and the shades look terrific. We did not do an exhaustive price comparison with other service providers because we felt that, even if the Wallpaper City prices were a little higher (and we did not confirm this), that the potential extra expense was worth it for the service that we received. We'd use Russ again in a heartbeat.

I had been looking online for Window Blinds and trying to get quotes without being able to measure my own windows. I went to a few other retailers that contracted with outside installers, which meant I had to contact the contractor after visiting their shop to arrange measurements, then return to them to make my selection. It was all taking alot of time and effort I didn't want to spend.

I walked into Wallpaper City and it was a bustling place. I went down to their Shade and Blind displays and Russell Jr was showing someone else some blinds, I heard him describe what the options were, and knew he saw me listening. There was no hard sell, just honest information. I went over and described what I wanted: Top Down, Bottom up Honeycomb Cordless blinds. He showed some to me and described their standard cost range. I asked when he could come measure, and he was available within a week.

He brought color samples and was patient while my sister and I compared notes on the choices. He encouraged me to think about the future; that I may want to paint the walls but not have to choose whole new blinds to go with those changes. Again, I felt this information was helpful and honest, and not out to sell me something. That and quot;sellsand quot; me more than any amount of coaxing and cajoling! He measured the whole house, and seeing the price, I decided to only install in two rooms for now. He is keeping the other numbers on file for when I decide to do the rest.

The price seemed fair, tho definitely more than some of the other retailers I'd visited; none of them had service like this. (In fact, I sat for at least an hour at one place, just waiting for someone to talk to me. Two places nobody ever came, and I gave up on them.)

It took me a week to get in to order them; it happened to be on Tax Free weekend. When he rang it up, he inadvertently included the tax. Realizing this later, he brought me cash when he installed them to make up the difference.

He charged $15 per window to install them, which also seemed reasonable. He worked around my VERY busy schedule, and got them in under an hour. He moved furniture out of the way, not expecting me to do it for him. He explained how to handle the shades for best results.

Altogether a very satisfactory experience. The blinds are lovely and provide just the right amount of sun and shade. I will definitely hire them again, and recommend them to others.

When the blinds came in Russell Sr remembered I happened to have the day off and called immediately so he could come out and do the install since it would be convenient to me. We had a few problems with valences popping off in the first few days, which was a smidge offputting, but they came out promptly to fix the problem and we have had them for several months now without issue. They were great to work with and we would definitely recommend them.

It was wonderful. There was nothing bad about them. The good thing was that we had no idea what we wanted and they just guided us through. Then they found a less expensive alternative. I would tell others to listen to them. They were meticulous. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

It was a completely satisfying experience to work with this establishment.

The installer came with his son and did an excellent job installing. They were in and out in a few hours and everything was aligned perfectly. I would recommend Wallpaper City to anyone wishing to have lovely window treatments (who doesn't want to spend an exorbitant amount or have them installed by impersonal Home Depot). I will definitely use them again for other services.

We visited this shop after visiting a higher-priced showroom in another town. We had planned to visit them first, but our shopping took us in a different direction. Since both shops sold the same brand of shades, we were interested in the service, professionalism and pricing to determine where we would buy. As it turned out, we learned a great deal about the window treatment business during our time with Russ, both in his store and in our house. The most important thing I learned is that it really pays to keep doing business in your own back yard. Not only do your neighbors have a vested interest in doing the right thing for you, but they will also go the extra mile to satisfy. Investing in your neighborhood lends stability in these difficult times and your home-town stores deserve your support. Wallpaper City provided a great price, outstanding service, and a friendly lesson on the right way to do business.

We had been looking around for blinds and wanted them installed as our house is old and the windows slant. Wallpaper city gave us an excellent price (a few hundred dollars cheaper than the same blinds at a more ''exclusive' shop). Ross Jnr did everything himself from measuring to installing. He called as soon as they arrived, I didn't have to wait for installment and he worked with my schedule to have them installed when I was at home. Afterwards everything was left spotless and in place.

THESE FOLKS ARE VERY GOOD AND REASONABLE. LOCATED RIGHT IN ROSLINDALE SQUARE WITH HARRISON REFRIGERATION RIGHT NEAR BY, AS WELL AS LOTS OF GREEK BAKERIES, STORES AND SEVERAL RESTAURANTS. THEY WERE GREAT. VERY HELPFUL, VERY REASONABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WALLPAPER TYPE(S), PAINT AND THINGS LIKE 'SIZING' AND ALL THAT. EXCELLENT PLACE TO GO FOR WALLPAPERING AND PAINT. THEY ALSO SELL THOSE WONDERFUL METAL COVERS THAT GO OVER OLD RADIATORS (YOU CAN PAINT THEM)THAT YOU CAN'T SEEM TO FIND ANYWHERE. VERY FRIENDLY AND NEIGHBORLY-LIKE. GOT A GOOD PRICE AS WELL.
