Sunshine Roofing

They were the cheapest quote we got. They are also in our neighborhood, which was nice. We have a flat rubber roof. This year we had to replace our gutters. When we were getting quotes from people to replace the gutters, we found out that Sunshine Roofing had wrapped the rubber into the gutters, which then made other companies feel uncomfortable about doing the work on it. With regard to responsiveness and punctuality, I don’t remember. I probably would not consider using them again in the future.

This year, when he had part of the house painted,  there were several areas with rotten siding / eaves.  The painter told us that we should have had the gutters cleaned; at the top of every downspout there was packed in debris that looked like it had accumulated for a long time - maybe years.  Obviously, we got only a cursory cleaning, rather than what we had paid for.

Sunshine installed a shield in an area of my roof affected by ice dams, and also replaced a rotting section of wooden gutter affected by same. They were very punctual and communicative, and the work looks excellent (it's yet to be tested with another ice dam). My only concern is that the job was a few hundred dollars too expensive compared with other folks I've talked to. But it may very well have been worth it.

 After flashing it continute to leak after flashing, they came back when asked, but never solved the problem.  When I decided to replace roof, they provided an estimate, which was low, but I selected another vendor as first problem had never been truly solved.  Very pleasant to work with.

Great experience! Someone came out to my house the day after I called and gave an estimate. Their office help called me to confirm when the actual work would be done, and they arrived exactly when they said they would. Fixed an extra downspout that I hadn't even realized was there at no extra charge. I would definitely call them again.

Sunshine Roofing had done an expensive $2500.00 rubber roof below a deck we have at our home. After only 16 months, the roof was leaking again. They insisted on another $600...which we begrudginly paid. The job was left unfinished until they received full payment. Finally they relented and finished the job...we paid in full. Just 6 months later the roof is leaking again... I

Most companies didn't even return my call. Sunshine did, showed up when they said they would and did the work in the allotted time. Little hard getting a followup receipt for work done but happy with service.

They did a wonderful job, everything was awesome. The price was very reasonable.

I called Mike(Sunshine) and told him some shingles were missing and needed to be replaced. He came down within a day or two, looked at the roof and replaced the missing shingles. His work was quite professional and after three heavy rainfalls, there are still no sign of leaks. He also cleaned the gutters for a small fee. I am quite satisfied with the work he performed.

We called 3 different local roofing contractors for estimates, but only Sunshine Roofers responded almost immediately and we received the estimate results in the mail approximately a week later. Communication was very good between myself, Michael, and Mrs. Coleman at the office (sounds like a wonderful lady) in setting up a start date and paying a 1/3 deposit, and in choosing the color of the shingles. Even though it rained the first day, Michael's crew completed a lot of preparation to make things easier as the week went on. They showed up the same time every day (7 AM), and before they went home (6 PM) each night, they left our yard spotlessly clean! They just finished the job today, and quite honestly, we were so happy with their craftsmanship and hard work that we have every bit of confidence in the world that we won't have any leaks, but in the off-chance there are any problems, we have had no doubts that Michael will respond promptly to make things right! HIRE THEM!

There was some miscommunication between us, the condo association, and the contractor. They did come back to talk to us to resolve the issue.

I must have left messages for 6-8 roofers when our roof let go of a number of shingles a few storms ago. When the big rains came and the water started pouring in, I asked a neighbor and he recommended Sunshine. Michael and crew were terrific. Responding w/in a few hours of my initital call, punctual and completely professional. We were particulalary worried about the planting around the house being disturbed, but we did not lose a leaf. They were incredibly careful and cleaned up completey each day. Our best big-job experience yet!
