Jo-Lan Automotive

I first went to Jo-Lan in 2000, and have not been to another mechanic since then. Joe (owner) and Alberto (chief mechanic) are outstanding--honest, efficient, reliable. They have serviced cars I've owned, inspected cars I was considering, and advised me on when it was time to stop putting money into two cars I've owned. The crew has made several house calls to help me get my car to their shop.

Jolan is the mechanic I always go to. I trust that I will get an honest report of what's wrong with the car and what it will cost to repair. For the past few years I was driving a very old car and I would bring it to Joe knowing that he would tell me when it was time to stop putting money into it. Before my last inspection sticker was due, he told me what would be necessary to pass inspection and how much it would cost and recommended that I not do the work and get rid of the car, which we did.

I've use Jo Lan auto for a number of repairs over the years. He has always been professional, honest, and reasonably priced. I've moved out of the area, but will continue to make the trip to go to him first.

They have done a little bit of everything for me. I have a 1994 car with over 200,000 miles on it. They are very, very honest. They will tell you when you can wait to do certain work. He is good about keeping an eye on things and telling you when you need to look out for certain things. He is pretty honest and fair. He won't overcharge you. I've had a couple of times when I've had to go back after they fixed something. If there's a problem, they'll take care of it right away.
