I found Elite Body Works on line and saw several positive reviews. They were my second stop, and I'm glad they were. I had previously gone to Clair Auto Body in West Roxbury, where we have had other work done on our vehicles in the past. I got a price quotation from them and drove over to Elite. Without showing them the other quote, Elite's quote for the same work was substantially less. Moreover, I got a good feeling from Ken, the owner. He told me that they could take my car on Monday (it was already Friday) and I should have the car back about three days later. Well, he was spot on. I picked up the car today and it looked great. The two areas of concern were perfect, and they even buffed out and touched up a few other scrapes and scratches on the six and a half year old car. The car had been vacuumed, and looked great on the inside, too. Highly recommended!

Two doors of my old Subaru were damaged beyond repair. The car drives very well and I needed to replace the doors. New doors would have cost about $1,195 each, labor not included. Ken Lucas, owner of Elite Bodyworks worked the phones and located two used doors in excellent condition, of the same color as my car so that painting was not necessary except for touch ups of minor scratches. Locks and the inside panels of my old doors were re-installed to match the rest of the car.
The entire project was completed within a week.
Ken Lucas kept me informed of his progress in locating used doors (from separate vendors), and of the installation schedule. By my estimate, the final cost is about a third or less of what new doors would have cost and the car looks great.

This auto body does good work and on schedule. I was a little disappointed that they did not touch up a few of the spots on the front of the car but this may have been a misunderstanding between us. I also thought they would wash the whole car and vacuum it before giving it back to me (many other shops do this). I would give them a B+/A- rating.

We made an appointment to bring the truck in for a look. We were interested in the price to get the door closed at least and operating if possible. We couldn't afford to have it like new. Ken spent 1/2 hour prying, levering and otherwise working his magic on the truck. He got the door working just fine and wouldn't take a penny from us for his time. He just asked that we remember him when we need body work!
