The end result of the project is a very satisfied client, without a doubt.  The project started right after Thanksgiving, and took approximately 8 months to complete by the end of July.   The project was sequenced as follows:
1)  The kitchen and studio were completely gutted right down to the studs, with all cabinetry, appliances and flooring removed.
2)  The roof over the garage was demolished, so that the buildout over the garage could begin.
3)  The framing of the new bedroom over the garage was a major part of this project.
4)  The insulation, plastering and painting of the studio was also a major portion of the work.
5)  The installation of new cabinetry, appliances, lighting and new flooring took place in the kitchen.  The Cabico cabinets along with the granite countertops look fabulous.  KitchenAid appliances include the refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and stovetop range.
6)  New electrical service breaker was installed outside new bathroom, to accommodate new wiring outlets in kitchen, master bedroom/bath, studio and garage.
7)  All of the new rooms were painted, as well as some of the original rooms in the house such as the living room and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms.  The painter, Paul Mondello, delivered very excellent results for us.
8)  A loft was built above the studio to include 2 "day beds" for house guests.  The lighting below the loft provides a casual gathering spot for watching TV or reading.
9)  The garage includes a traditional exterior facade with an automatic door opener, and the adjoining basement remains connected to the dining room via stairwell, with a "master light" that automatically turns on all of the basement lights.
10)  A central AC configuration cools the kitchen, master bedroom and studio.
