From Paige NeJame (Owner): We are a painting company that makes a big deal out of making sure customers are serviced properly. We offer a free design consultation with our 2 staff designers so that the colors you choose are perfect (not almost perfect - there's nothing worse than the "almost perfect" color!). Most of the time we'll be able to print out an estimate from our computer right at the time of the quote. Generally, we are able to accommodate rush jobs (nothing like an party to get the painting done!) and even in our busiest times (June and July), we are generally able to start your project within a few weeks. We have a whole team dedicated to just painting commercial jobs - which means if your office, factory or church needs painting, we can paint after business hours or on the weekends so you don't experience any downtime. They did a great job. The first day they pressure washed both of our decks and the house.Next they did carpentry and prep work. Then they painted the whole house. They had it done in four days and the house looked great.
The Certa Pro owner came to our home, after our initial call and did a thorough review of what services we expected in having the exterior of our house painted. In turn he provided us a detailed review of what we discussed, detailed pricing and the general timeframe when we could expect to have our house painted. We made it a little easy for them since we knew exactly what paint colors we wanted used and had the information available from our last painting 7 years ago.
While Certa Pro's pricing was higher than the two other painting contractors we contacted, we felt the thoroughness of what they proposed was worth the extra price. Certa Pro does have a lot of overhead which does add to the price, including the owners of the franchise, an office assistant who stayed in contact with us via e-mail and providing necessary paperwork to get the project started; two folks who did the carpentry and prep work, a supervisor of the project and two painters. Indeed they did follow through on everything that they proposed and we are satisfied with the quality of the work. Interestingly, you only pay by cash or check once the work is completed there is no downpayment required.
The people who came to our house to do the work were pleasant and worked very hard completing the painting in the time frame identified in the proposal. The work they did was thorough, neat and they cleaned up at the end of each day.
We noticed after the job was done and the check cashed that a door frame was left unpainted. They answered our call and promptly came back and fixed the problem, no hastle involved.

But they sub-contract out the work to non-american sub workers. So the house we saw done by them, was not what we got. Our crew spoke little english, and really did not spend enough time on the scraping (true, it was in very bad shape. it should have been scraped for 1.5 weeks. They did not do that). The some parts of the house really needed detailed treatement.
We will see how soon it starts to peel again.
*** UPDATE ***
I called them about the peeling, they sent a 2nd crew that did a much much better job on the peeling parts than the first. Supplied their own paint. No cost. I am now giving them an overall "A". It looks like it depends on which crew you get. This second crew was great.
