The service was excellent. I called and almost immediately got a call back asking for more information about my situation. I appreciated this as often many other service providers will just take basic information and show up and not have correct parts and need to bill for another service call. 
They asked for and then assisted me in finding my model number. Then took the time to understand all the details before setting the appointment. This extra attention to detail resulted in the next day onsite at my home repair where the service technician Phil had everything he needed with him to fix my dishwasher.
Phil was great and took care to keep the work area clean and even made sure that any removed screws from the appliance went back where they originated. He also disposed of any trash and left my home in the same condition as when he entered. 
The price quoted was the same for the service call I received and the part needed was very reasonable.  I was also impressed during the payment process because they use the card processor Square, which provides an encrypted transaction for processing credit cards. In this day and age with rampant fraud, I was happy to see the extra attention to a secure transaction. I would not hesitate to use these guys again and probably will soon as my refrigerator is starting to go.

Set up an appointment for 12/17 for dryer repair. Wasn't sure if I needed a new switch or a new motor. Did not have a switch that fit my dryer. Ordered a new switch came the next day (Saturday) to install. Determined it was the motor. Because I needed a motor I was not charged for the switch and received $20.00 off the service charge. Decided to buy a new dryer not worth putting  in a new motor. Would highly recommend this company.

I called on a Friday night and Roy called back early the next day and was here making the repair within 2 hours.  He had the part, defrosted the fridge, and made the repair all in about an hour.  
It went great and I feel I got a great value for the money.

I called Affordable Appliance Repair in the afternoon, but they were booked for the rest of the day. However, there came first thing in the morning.
Phil certainly knows what he's doing. I told him what the problem was and he knew immediately what needed to be fixed. After 14 years of constant use, the lid switch had broken. While he was here, he checked out the rest of the machine and found that the agitator was also broken. Phil also fixed the agitator (a couple of small plastic parts that had broken were quickly replaced) without cost because "it wasn't the problem I called him for, and I didn't know that it was also broken." He said that when he fixes one problem and runs the machine to be sure it is working properly, he also checks to be sure everything else is working as it should be. Phil is very professional, a gentleman, and a downright nice guy.
Should I have problems with any other appliances, I will definitely call him. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

My washing machine is old and wasn't working. Phil showed up and said he may be able to get a part to fix it but I may want to buy a new one. I had looked at new washers and I didn't like some of the new features on them so I said I would rather keep the old one going as long as I could as long as it wasn't cost prohibitive. He said he would check into getting the part and let me know how much it would all cost. Since the cost with installation was reasonable, I decided to have the repair done and have been very happy with results.

What a nice Guy! he was so honest to let me know that my Fridge was not working and fixing it would be much more expensive. So he did not charge me at all for coming to my house and look into my fridge and Freezer not cooling. He came 1/2 hour earlier than expected and spent another 45 minutes close to an hour to check every detail. And he said to me to save my $$ to buy a new one:)

He was a very, very good guy. I just recently recommended him to my neighbor. He came out to fix a stove for my neighbor. I've recommended him to 2 other people again. He calls you right back, he is very good in helping you sort out the problem, tells you what he thinks it's going to be, and tells you what the cost will be for that. He is very fair about saying that there is only a certain amount of life to appliances these days. We don't have those Maytag washers that last for 30 years anymore. He's the kind of guy that will tell you if it's worth fixing and then he will do that. He's a terrific person.
