All went well for a while, although the plow did destroy a barrel planter. Then we suddenly received noticce that he would not be plowing for us any longer - right before the season started! I had to find someone else.

He is reliable. They guys come and they do a good job and they even help very quickly. He e-mails us an invoice and we do everything online. He lets us know what is going on with what his company is in for everything else. We are extremely pleased with him. I would be very hesitant to go with someone else right now. He has an office person that takes his calls, if not he takes his message and then he gets back to you by the next day because he is out in the job to himself.

Called Dave at approx. 9:00am by 5:00pm that day he had stopped over to give me an estimate. The next day his crew was at my house.

perfect. you'd never know there was once a fence there. and mind you tree had fallen into the fence, but Dave and his removed it all. perfect. just perfect. I'm bringing him back to do other odd vs around the house. you have no idea how long it's taken me to find someone to do these tasks.

Dave's office team was very professional and helpful in scheduling Dave. Dave arrived on time (both for the estimate and for the work) and worked extremely hard in very hot weather to complete the work on schedule. He went above and beyond in every aspect. I could not have been more pleased with his work and with the whole experience. I highly recommend Dave and his team.

Dave was extremely professional and completed the project on time and within budget. I have since retained his services for all my lawn care and maintenance (mowing, leaf removal, hedge trimming, etc.) I would highly recommend Dave's Home Services for any homeowner in the area.

Dave and his crew are great. They were here to clean our gutters and we asked them to do some leaf removal. The gutters weren't very dirty, so he charged us less than usual and then only charged us $25 for the leaf removal since they were already doing the house across the street. Great guy, very prompt, very reasonable prices.

I really like Dave and his team. They do an excellent job making my house look like someone lives there. The only issue I have is with communication. Sometimes it seems emails get lost in the ether, due to multiple people reading the same email account. I would suggest to the company that they look into a new way of handling email, as that can be frustrating. Despite that, I would hire them again, as they do good work at a good price, and Dave is extremely knowledgeable about plants.

Last fall (2009) Dave repaired and replaced the roof on our old shed. We thought we were going to have to replace the entire shed because the roof was leaking and there was a lot of rot/damage, but Dave saved the day by cutting out the rotted pieces, correctly sealing the structure and repairing the entire roof. It held up over the winter beautifully! Also in the fall, Dave removed an old, non-functioning garage door opener and installed a brand new door opener for us. He had the tools and skill set to get this done in a much timelier fashion than we would have had we taken on the project ourselves. There was an issue with the electronics panel of the garage door opener, and Dave stayed at our house to troubleshoot -- he went above and beyond. We had to have Sears come out to replace a part on the new door opener (out of the box it wasn't performing properly -- it was a faulty model) and Dave kept checking back in with us to see how the process was going and whether the problem had been resolved. I appreciated that! Additionally in the fall, Dave removed a heavy, broken awning from the back of our house. It was quite a task, but Dave and a crew member expertly took it down and disposed of it for us. And, Dave looked around at a couple of stores and was even able to match up our siding so you can hardly tell that any work had been done on the back of the house! This winter, we hired Dave's Home Services to plow our driveway. We were very happy with the plow job, and the few times that we needed to get in touch with him for one reason or another he was easily accessible on his cell phone. This spring we hired Dave's team to edge our front and back garden beds. They quickly and efficiently tidied up our beds and cleaned up the grass/dirt that was displaced. For 5 hours of work between two men it cost $175. Money well spent in our opinion as we were then quickly able to mulch on the cleaned up beds. (Dave's team would have mulched for us but we had already purchased the mulch and planned on doing it ourselves.) Dave is a very personable and friendly guy and very easy to work with. His office team is very responsive and nice as well. They call back quickly any time we've left a message with a question. When we've asked Dave to give us estimates for jobs he's not best suited for, he's recommended other professionals to call. The people he's recommended that we've ended up hiring to do work have been top notch! Dave also sends bills and invoices electronically in addition to e-newsletters. I like that he's saving paper this way! Dave's Home Services is a great find in Reading!!

I called them for landscaping based on the reviews online. They charged $250 for the leaves and a little under $200 for the yard cleanup. He was a pleasure to work with.

I have just this company since this spring. They do initial lawn work and things like trimming the hedges. They do edging and essentially whatever has to be done as far as the lawn and yard work goes. I am happy with the work that they do. They have been very good at working with me and working within my budget.

Great! Excellent communication of schedule and work to be done. Phone and email answered within 24-36 hours. He seems to prefer email.

Responded quickly to my initial contact. Old service had not shown up at start of season and lawn was quite overgrown. Provided estimate and began work almost immediately. Reliable throughout the entire summer. Early snow prevented fall cleanup but I have no doubt he will take care of it in the spring. He was also willing to pitch in and do an emergency job of mowing for my brother when needed.

Dave's team was very efficient and did an excellent job clearing/cleaning up the entire area. The best part is his quote was hundreds of dollars less than 3 other people had quoted me. I plan to have him back for more extensive work this summer. Only negative is it was sometimes hard to reach Dave.

I don't think they really knew what I was looking for. I was really looking for some experienced painters who knew how to patch holes and things. The quality wasn't great for the painting, but they also do my landscaping, which is OK. The price for the painting is a lot on the high side.

We use Dave's service throughout the summer when our children are unavailable to do the work. He is agreeable to do uncontracted work and comes in a reasonable amount of time from the initial request.
