Glenn and crew were great. On time, professional, and very friendly. They did a nice job removing and replacing the cedar shingles required to blow in the insulation. Difficult to tell which shingles they took off. They did a nice job overall. The spray foam is a bit messy in some areas of the basement but this is super minor. The fiberglass batting they put in the rim joists was neat and well done. They even did a little extra work for me. Very happy and would recommend them highly.

They did great!  Aside from some trash and insulation cleanup inside my house after the job was done, I was very satisfied.
Glenn and Al (foreman) were very pleasant and easy to work with.

First, I had an energy audit done by Mass Save.  As part of the audit, Mass Save did all of the measurements to provide a quote for the insulation.  Mass Save has a list of approved contractors that can be used for the work.  The pricing is standardized and they provide a $2000 discount from the total price.  In my case, the total price was about $5000 and after the discount, my out of pocket price was about $3000.
I contacted Glenn Alexander and he came out to do a walk through.  We agreed on a schedule for the work.  I had to make a change to the schedule, due to work commitments and Glenn was flexible.  
The work took about 3 days.  The crew arrived on time, they were respectful of my home and they were friendly.  They were very professional and double checked their work.  After filling each wall with insulation, they used a thermal imaging camera to confirm that they didn't miss any spots.
My house has vinyl siding over old clapboards, with a thin layer of Styrofoam in between.  They removed a strip of the vinyl, cut off the Styrofoam and then drilled holes through the clapboards and sheathing.  Once the insulation was blown in, they put the Styrofoam and vinyl back in place.  They also did some air sealing and installed attic vents. 
Glenn's team really went above and beyond my expectations.  I would certainly hire them again.

They did a wonderful job.  I thought they were very professional, friendly, and efficient.  The price was fair and competitive.  I was very happy with the work they did.

Representative came out and gave us an estimate within a couple of days of placing a call to the company and we scheduled the work for the following week. Gordon and Elias arrived promptly and did a thorough job looking over the attic, inside and outside walls checking for cracks. They were good natured, knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. Job took about a day and a half.

It all went well - Glenn found that the (1970s fake wood) paneling on the inside walls was not nailed in well and was the only thing attached to the studs, so he helped figure out the best way to proceed in terms of not making the interior walls bulge or come off! We ended up putting in new nails on some of the paneling to help it stay in. We ended up not insulating one wall because of this, but that was my choice (based on Glenn's expertise). Glenn lowered the price by $100 (from $750 to $650) because of this. The room is much warmer because of all the insulation. These guys came on time, did their thing, were pleasant and professional. I'd use them again.

Glenn Alexander was very professional and responsive from the time of our first call for an estimate. He gave us an estimate quickly and we were able to schedule the work just as fast. He and his associate were very professional. They did an excellent job protecting the house from dirt, etc., and did a thorough job of cleaning up when they were done. My toddler and I were at home the whole time and did not feel displaced in the least bit. We were pleased and highly recommend Alexander for an insulation job. Not to mention, we are "thrilled" about the difference our newly insulated attic makes to the warmth/feel of our house.

Glenn and his crew did a great job. Their quote was much lower than the others I received. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work done. He showed up when he said he would. Overall, I was very happy with the work and I would hire him again.

Alexander Insulation answered our inquiry promptly, offered excellent advice and information over the phone and then followed up when we left a callback message. They scheduled the work immediately and showed up promptly with the proper staff and equipment for our job. They completed the work expertly in short time. We could not be more satisfied. I highly recommend them.

THEY SHOWED UP UNANNOUNCED, DIDN'T CALL FIRST. THEY WERE VERY NOISY. THEY LEFT LITTER AROUND THE YARD IN OUR RECYCLING BINS, PLASTIC BAGS.

THEY LEFT ONE SHINGLE OFF, BUT RETURNED QUICKLY TO CORRECT THE OVERSIGHT. I'M VERY PLEASED OVERALL.

INSULATION WENT VERY SMOOTHLY, GLENN IS EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT INFORMATION. IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET THE KEYSPAN ENERGY REBATE, BUT THIS WAS PROBABLY KEYSPAN'S FAULT.
